The apartment is well-equipped with basic amenities including Ironing, dishwasher. We could not use the laundry as we stayed only 4 nights. It's for those who stay longer. The apartment is also quite spacious with outdoor seating. . 2 bedrooms, 1 more of a "kids" room with two single beds pushed together. Parking is great, and on premise. There is an elevator, perfect for older people with mobility issues. The view is fantastic and so is the town, adorable. Lake Blausee is just 8 min away by car. 2 grocery stores in town and a handful of restaurants. We got a late checkout at 12 as our host couldn't show up at 10.00, which was great, as you have to clear up a lot of things before you leave and the time is needed.

A heads up for those travelling for the 1st time or living in an apartment like this. There's a 300 CHF deposit, in cash. No Euros accepted. So make sure you have it. You get only 1 key to the apartment despite 4 individuals staying there. You have to empty the trash yourself, clear up the bedding towels into a bag they provide. It's the 1st time we did this. And yes, you still pay a cleaning fee. If you're sensitive to bedding material, the quilt covers feel more polyestei than good combed cotton. The towels are just 1large/1 small material for the entire duration. Maybe get a few for yourself. No shampoo in the bathroom. No oil, basic condiments like salt etc in the kitchen. Make sure you buy it all in advance.
