Deceptive description and unhelpful host.

Prior to arrival at this property, I reached out to the host to verify the fact that it had air-conditioning as our stay was happening during an extreme heat wave. He responded that there was no actual air conditioning only fans in this attic apartment. I told him that because we had reserved the apartment based on the description of air conditioning. We would not be staying there and expected a refund due to the misleading listing.

Neither the host/owner, nor Booking.com was helpful in this situation. Though we were initially assured that because the listing was incorrect, we would not be responsible for payment of this day. We never received a refund. We spent hours on the phone with booking and contacted the host multiple times. We are very disappointed in this service and hope that the listing will be changed to reflect the fact that there is no air conditioning so that future customers will not be misled the way that I was.

We had good time in Kandersteg quite underrated for a calm n peaceful stay. View is stunning but a bit far from city

The host is very helpful The view is so stunning and calming We had a very good stay all basic toiletries and kitchen appliances are available and location wise it’s not too far from train station The ceiling is quite low kinda limited for anyone above 6ft

Clean, well located, great value

Exceptionally clean apartment and very comfortable beds! Great location close to the train station and shop. Cooking facilities and provided utensils/equipment all good. Left chocolate and some waters which was a lovely touch The ceiling height could be an issue for some, my 6ft 4 husband could just about stand up in the middle of the lounge and in the main bedroom. Also could do with a hook or space to hang things in the second bedroom. The curtains were very thin (net curtains) so there wasn’t the amount of privacy I’m used to, particularly when showering at night I felt I had to with the lights off.

Beautiful view from all rooms. Very comfortable. It was cold outside so I appeeciated the warmth. Well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable bed. Responsive host. Will return!

Great location. Compact & bijou. Great for a night or two.

Bed was lovely and comfortable. Owner moved his car so we could park ours, which was nice. The apartment is nice, small, and clean. Watch you don’t bump your head if you’re taller than 5’8”!! Good little kitchen with everything needed. A little balcony to sit out on. TV with satellite channels. All in all we liked it!

There IS hot water, unlike the first reviewer said, but the water pressure is so low it’s hard to get wet under it! Fine for summer, but expect it would be an issue when skiing.

Il faisais bien chaud à l’intérieur, idéal pour 1 nuit ou 2 pour 2-3 personnes max. La personne est littéralement injoig

L’emplacement au top , la vue est magnifique et à côté du lac Blausee et Oeschinensee

Trop petit, les personnes grande de taille risque de se cogner la tête. L’emplacement de la deuxième chambre était cachée on a mis du temps à la trouver car aucune indication. La personne qui se charge de louer cet appart met une éternité à répondre point très négatif! J’ai du la relancer sur plusieurs jours pour qu’au final elle ne réponde même pas à mes questions. On a galerer à trouver l’appartement car aucune indication aucune photo et la personne ne répond pas.

Konumu çok güzel bulunduğu köy harika yürüyüş rotalarına yakın. Ev de ihtiyacını olacak her şey var.

Tek kötü yorumum ev sahibine hiç yardımsever değil sadece anahtar için yardımcı oluyor onun dışında sorulara yeterince yanıt almadım. Kaç defa bu tarz konaklama yaptım bu ev sahibi kadar ilgisiz biriyle karşılaşmadım.

Mancanza di attenzione

Posizione ottima per la visita al lago e a supermercati e ristoranti, appartamento dotato di tutto quello che serve

Quando siamo arrivati stavano facendo dei lavori quindi per accedere dovevi passare tra le impalcature, secchi pieni di sassi e materiale edilizio (pericoloso sia per noi che per il nostro cane) e avevamo il balcone con tutte le sigarette per terra e le sedie sporche di vernice, non eravamo stati avvertiti di ciò e comunque si poteva mettere un po’ in ordine prima del nostro arrivo, quando abbiamo avvertito il proprietario di ciò non si è nemmeno scusato. Non c’è un parcheggio, abbiamo dovuto parcheggiare in uno più avanti a pagamento per tutto il soggiorno. I soffitti sono bassi e bisogna stare attenti alla testa (ma d’altronde è una mansarda) La scala per accedere è molto stretta e si fa fatica a portare su grandi valigie

Molto accogliente e in posizione ottima per la visita al lago.

Soffitti molto bassi, una persona alta potrebbe avere difficoltà. Non c’è disponibilità del parcheggio, nonostante la richiesta all’host non mi è stato indicato alcun parcheggio. Ho parcheggiato in uno a pagamento a circa 5/10 minuti a piedi per 10 franchi al giorno

Die Wohnung hat sehr niedrige und schräge Decken, insbesondere im zweiten Zimmer, wo es außer einem Bett nichts gibt und man nur gebückt gehen kann. Großen Menschen empfehle ich hier nicht zu übernachten, da man sonst ständig aufpassen muss, sich nicht den Kopf zu stoßen.

Все сподобалось. Все все все і навіть більше. Помешкання розташоване в такому гарному місці. Вечері приїхали пізно нічого не бачили, окрім затишного оформлення житла. А в ранці це житло розквітло ще більше з краєвидами за вікном. Це було неймовірно. Хочу повернутись.

Мінусів немає. Окремо дякую за наявність кави і кавової машини.

Kleine, gemütliche Unterkunft !

Da wir nur eine Nacht ( maximal 7 Stunden ) in der Unterkunft waren, war alles so wie es sein sollte für einen so kurzen Aufenthalt. Die Küche hatte eine Kaffeemaschine und die Betten waren bequem ! Die Nähe zum Autozug war Mega !

En équipement on pourrait compléter avec un couteau 🔪 et un épluche légume et peut être des verres à vin 🍷.. une salière et un poivrier serait parfait .. niveau chambre un rideau occultant 😴 mais sinon rien à redire 🤗

Très beau logement .

L’appartement nous a offert un confort exceptionnel et une vue sur les montagnes encerclant la ville à couper le souffle. La ville dans Kandersteg est très jolie cependant dommage qu’il n’y ait pas plus de commerces et de petites boutiques souvenirs. Le logement était très propre et convivial à notre arrivée. Les hôtes ont pris soin de mettre le chauffage car très basse température à l’extérieur lors de notre séjour. Nous avons également apprécié tous les équipements mis à notre disposition (machine à café, boulleoir, wifi etc..). Les hôtes nous ont également offert deux bouteilles d’eau et une tablette de chocolat ce qui nous a beaucoup plu. Je recommande vivement ce logement.

Wir haben gekocht und hätten uns über eine Salatschüssel gefreut. Ansonsten hat es alles was man braucht.
