Bedroom great but washroom not

Comfy beds, big bedrooms, lots of storage in the bedrooms. Great location to get go Lake Oeschinen.

Low lighting in one of the bedrooms. Washroom is outdated, there is no air vent, but window can be opened, despite that there is some mold accumulating on the ceiling. There is bathtub, but no overhead shower, must use the detachable shower head. Floor could use more cleaning. There is no oil in the kitchen for cooking.

I think that on a normal bases this place is a great affordable stay and a really great location.

I liked how quick the owner was to fix the issue and how he was cooperative in some sort of refund.

The first night we arrived, the place was not cleaned from the previous people. This was not the owners fault but a miscommunication between him and the cleaners. he quickly sent someone over and offered a half refund and such. So that was nice to get. The parking is super confusing and we couldn’t find it.

When we arrived, there were construction works around the house, which the owner hadn’t mentioned at all. There was physically no space for parking, not to mention the noise and the smell of paint inside the house. My question about where I could park was simply ignored. And on top of that, I had to scrape off tape and paint from the key box.

Comfortable respite in the heart of the beautiful Swiss alps

Very cute and comfortable apartment, centrally located. We also enjoyed the outdoor area and dedicated parking space.

Coffee machine did not work. Capsules fell through to the bottom reservoir unused. We also found it difficult to obtain visitor passes.

We stayed one night after enjoying a hike and swim at Oschinensee.

It is within walking distance to the gondola station for Oscheninsee and it had an included parking space. Also, enough beds for 5 guests along with a washing machine is a plus.

The room with 3 beds has no windows and a very small fan. In the winter ski season this is fine, but in the summer months it can be stuffy and too warm.

We drove home rather than staying

The place looks much better in the photos than in reality. When we arrived, there was a strong smell and flies all over the place, so we opened the windows to air it out before going out for the afternoon. One bedroom has no windows as it was once a storefront and those big windows are boarded up. Upon our return, we thought the place was so uninviting that we decided to pack up and drive home 2.5hrs away rather than stay.

Great stay!

We stayed here for three nights. I was looking for accommodation in Lauterbrunnen but came across this little place as this was the most affordable option for us. What a surprise! The location of this place could not be any better. We loved the surrounding area and even though we were exhausted after long days of exploring we still managed to squeeze in a late evening walk as everything was so close and beautiful around us. The place was ok, it was somewhat updated however the bathroom was very dated (that could definitely use an update). The pillows were worn and uncomfortable but it is not a dealbreaker. In the end of the day, we had a safe place to stay and we had everything we needed for a nice stay in the beautiful town of Kandersteg…for a great price! I was happy we could use the washer and do our laundry!

Parking. We arrived with two cars and we could only use one parking spot. We had to look for public parking (the payment was complicated) for a while and then we ended up parking at nearby hotel for 15 CHF a day.

Perfect location. Easy check in. Pet friendly. Functional. Fits 4 adults comfortably/one single bed for extra person in one of the rooms.

Right apartment in the wrong place

The apartment was great, with large bedrooms and plenty of space for four people. The owner was happy to restock the coffee pods. Having a coffee maker was a bonus.

The apartment needs some upkeep. Esp bathroom. The shower was in the bath, dangerous for some people getting in and out, plus it was slippery. A bath mat would be useful, we used a small towel to stand on. The situation on the main road meant the apartment and especially one of the bedrooms was noisy, even at night. We could also hear noise from the apartment above (chairs grating etc)

Lovely town and OK facilities.

The environment was nice and the host provided a fan in one of the rooms that had no windows. Kitchen facilities were OK and the town was very picturesque and quiet so we had a good night's rest.

The toilet only had one small lightbulb and was super dim, it was also very dangerous because of the poor lighting. The space was kind of tight especially the kitchen. At the door of each room there is a different elevation level so people might trip and fall which isn't too great.

The apartment is located at the main street, pretty much close to the train station, bus stops, groceries, and restaurants. The place is very spacious with all necessary utilities included. It was very clean and well maintained.

Recommend to download Whatsapp asthe entrance procedure will be sent by message app without any prior notice. One of the bedrooms is facing the main street, which cause some noise, but not too much.

Cosy place to stay away from touristic crowd and enjoy the nature.

Apartment is equipped with all the amenities. Location is perfect to explore beautiful village as well as tourist places/ activities nearby. Free car parking is added bonus here. Host is super cool and explains all details related to house.

Gute Lage und gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Die Unterkunft hat eine Top Lage. Ein Parkplatz steht kostenfrei zur Verfügung. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig. Es hat eine Küche, welche wir allerdings nicht benutzt haben. Da die Wohnung im Erdgeschoss ist, war es nicht all zu heiss trotz heissem Wetter.

Im Badezimmer hebt sich der Boden sodass die Tür beim öffnen und schliessen jeweils hängenbleibt. Dies würde ich beheben. Ausserdem ist die Klobrille schon etwas abgenutz. Auch diese würde ich ersetzten. Aber das sind wirklich kleinigkeiten. Ansonsten war alles Top👍🏻

Prachtig appartement, mooie ligging vlakbij de de lift naar de Oeschensee! Leuk de chocola bij binnenkomst en de puzzel van 200 stukjes. Werd gelijk mee gestart door de kinderen. Heerlijke bedden! Parkeerplaats naast het huisje en een terras buiten! Top plek!

الشقه كانت بها عناكب و المروحه التي يعتبرها مكيف كانت بها خيوط عنكبوت و غلايه الماء لا تعمل و لا يوجد غسالة ملابس و الموقع كان على الشارع العام و كذلك عناكب من خارج الشباك لم استطع فتح الشبابيك خوف منها ، اما الحديقه الخلفيه كانت ممتلئة ببقايا بلاط و قوارير زجاجيه و كان بجانب الشقه مجمع للنفايات و كذلك صاحب الشقه لا يرد بسرعه تتعب معه و في البدايه اعطانا شقه يسكنها ناس اخرين و بعد مكالمات كثيره ارسل لنا شخص ليرينا الشقه الاساسيه و بعد يوم من الاقامه حضر الينا مجموعه من السياح و اعطاهم رقم شقتنا للسكن و ارشدناهم لشقتهم الاساسيه

Magnifiques vues ! Emplacement au top !

Magnifique appartement !!! Tout était magnifique : les chambres, la propreté et surtout l’emplacement avec la place de parking privée ! J’y retournerai c’est sûr ! Nous avons fait 2 randonnées sur 2 jours et nous nous sommes bien reposés dans ce magnifique appartement, merci beaucoup !

Pendant notre séjour, j’ai posé 2 questions à l’hôte auxquelles je n’ai pas eu de réponses. Je précise quand même qu’il répondait assez rapidement en général via Whatsapp.
