Very sweet rest spot for a cycling pelgrim

The only dinner option for a cyclist is the pizza machine in the village.

Cute B&B with everything you need!

The hosts are amazing, friendly and kind. I was sick on the last day of our stay and they let us do a later check out so I could sleep a bit longer. There is a wonderful selection for breakfast which you pick out the night before and is served to you in the breakfast room at a designated table. They have several lounges, and outdoor deck patio with couches and a downstairs gravel patio with little bistro tables. There is a pool but we didn't use it. The rooms are nice and cool, and the comforter is very cozy. The bed was very comfortable and the whole room was great! We stayed in the Da Vinci room. The area is great for walking and quite challenging for runs as it's mainly all hills. Cows in the area to say hi to.

Doors were quite squeaky. Had to get up several times at night to use the washroom however the washrooms are outside the bedrooms. (You have your own designated washroom and it was right beside the room, but not inside the room). There is also a very bright automatic hallway light that came on every time I went out. I was quite worried I was waking up the other guests as the bedroom doors have large cracks so you can see the light. The other complaint was that the 3 dogs on the property are very loud. One barks and it causes the other one to bark while the third one stays quiet.

It doesn't get any better than this!

I've spent more than 25 years staying in hotels/B&Bs all over the world and this place ranks amongst the very best. From the moment I arrived to the time that I left 3 days later I was incredibly well looked after. The rooms are amazing, the breakfast was delicious and I could not get over the attention to detail and beautiful decor everywhere I looked. I will definitely be back very soon!

Hiking, beer tasting, nature and gastronomy at the peak of comfort in Belgium...

Staff is great, helpful and friengly! Beer tastings is a must. Hikings and nature at the doorstep of the hotel. Visit to local breweries nearby is recomended. All that in the comfort of the premisses (which are outstanding), it feels like being at my family home and at the same time at a 4 stars hotel. Breakfast is royal! also a must...

Perfect stay!

Everything! Our hosts were wonderful. Breakfast is lovely. The facilities were beyond our expectations. Excellent idea to have cold drinks and snacks available to buy from reception. Netflix in the room which was nice to use in the evening, aswell as games in the common area. We both were sad to leave and would definitely return again! Thank you for a wonderful relaxing stay. Excellent location for all WW2 sights we wanted to visit. Lois & Vince.

Very good

Friendly host, nice location, you can charge your electric car, they waited for me even though i arrived two hours past check-in time due to car trouble. I had different plans but you can definitely hang out on their property and have some snacks and drinks. Very easy going and open hosts who like to have a conversation without being overly involved.

A double bed is two separate beds put together which is less optimal.

Highly recommended!

Very pleasant place to relax, enjoy nature and disconnect from the city life. Beautiful walking and hiking routes starting next to he hotel or in the surroundings. Lovely attention from the owners Jan and Yvonne, who were very attentive and caring all the time. Great place to stay in, even in covid times. Highly recommended. Would love to come back.

De palletkachel en de warmte deken. Het vertrouwen kwa inname van consumptie waren ook heel hoog. Bed lag niet hard of zacht ertussen in. Ruime kamer.

De rust en onze kamer was zeer goed Badkamer was ook super De omgeving is heel fijn ook al zit je vrij dicht aan de autostrade. De eigenaar waren behulpzaam en vriendelijk

Het karig ontbijt als je de standaard nam en mag in deze prijsklasse toch ietsje meer zijn. We hadden ook betaald voor een ver uitzicht maar dit werd de kerk. Er was een oplaadpaal maar deze kon niet gebruikt worden.

Geweldig verblijf met ontzettend lieve mensen die er alles aan doen om hun gasten te verwennen

De gastvrijheid van Jan en Yvonne was super. Niets was teveel. Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en lekker.

De drukte van de straat maakt dat er wel veel verkeer moest passeren. Ook aan het zwembad was er veel op en afrijden van tractors.

Formidable.

Formidable accueil, des chambres d'une rare propreté et décorée avec goût, très originales, on se sent vraiment ailleurs. Jan est un hôte vraiment très convivial, très à l'écoute, il fait tout pour que tout se passe au mieux. Je n'ai malheureusement pas su rencontrer Yvonne, mais elle nous a préparé nos "lunchs to go" aux heures demandées (il nous les fallait très tôt). Nous reviendrons l'an prochain avec plaisir pour le futur grand prix. Je conseille vivement l'hôtel "La vie en rose". Merci beaucoup pour votre bienveillance et gentillesse.

Geen aangenaam verblijf, claustrofobische kamer en opdringende host

Bij aankomst werden we onthaald door de host, maar hij begon onmiddellijk met verkoop van ontbijt en koelkast inhoud. We kregen geen keuze wanneer we onze ontbijt mochten nemen, dus hebben we geen ontbijt gebruikt. We kregen geen eigen sleutel van onze kamer, was volgens hen niet nodig, alles blijft er open ! Kamergrootte kwam niet overeen met de omschrijving , geen 40M2 :-( Geen uitkijk omwille van enkel dakramen zonder uitzicht. Doucheproducten, grote flessen douchegel en shampoo, wordt door iedereen gebruikt. Geen eigen koelkast en geen kleerkast op kamer. We zijn een dag eerder vertrokken....
