Gîte-Auberge Kaleo de Wanne

Dankbar sind wir für die Hilfsbereitschaft bei unserer verfrühten Ankunft. Das Hostel entsprach als solches unseren Erwartungen, es übertraf sie. Wir werden gern wiederkommen.

We are travelling around Europe with our family and stayed here for one night. There is parking available, which was very convenient. There is also a restaurant about a 15-minute walk away, and we went there on foot. The room was basic but perfectly fine, with a private bathroom. Breakfast was simple but quite filling. A huge plus was that they let us check out at 11:00 — thank you very much for that!

Unfortunately, there were also a few things that disappointed us. We could not find the pond or lake shown in the photos. Also, the information says that bed linen is available at reception, but every time we asked, we were told that everything had already been prepared. However, when we returned to the room, the beds were not made and there was no bed linen. This was quite frustrating. After a couple of hours and four phone calls, the bed linen was finally brought to us. Overall, the stay was okay, but the situation with the bed linen could definitely have been handled much better.

Le lieu idyllique et calme, facilité d'accès en train et promenade agréable à pied. Lieu hors du commun et revigorant.

De devoir repartir pour le travail, sinon nous aurions prolongé notre séjour!
