A peaceful getaway in a cosy setting, with warm hospitality and great outdoor activities.

Our stay at Gîte Fournil was cozy and very relaxing. The sauna was a big plus! The hosts were kind and welcoming. We biked from Trois-Ponts station to the gîte and were able to store our bikes securely. There are nice hiking and biking trails nearby, suitable for both mountain biking (VTT) and road cycling. We hope to return to this lovely place again!

Exceptional

Everything you need, is available. It is clean, modern, great location and very friendly (even though we do not speak French) welcoming and send off. Extra to what is expected was the beautiful sauna. Very, very nice. Kitchen 100% stocked to what is needed.

The toilet to sit down is very uncomfortable. I am not a big person, but even for me, I have to turn sideways to sit. The loft is VERY low and very steep ladder to get there. Safety issue for me.

Highly recommended!

The hosts Cecile and Marian were very friendly and welcoming. Despite the Covid situation they were always available for us through the booking.com chat, so that social distancing could be respected. They lent us a BBQ and recommended a beautiful route for hiking. Also it was no problem to get a new bucket of wood for the fireplace. The price of 7 euro per bucket seemed fair to us. The house is located in a very quiet and rural area. We liked that we could park right in front of the house. The terrace is directed towards a field and gives a lot of privacy. The house itself is equipped with quality furniture and decorated with lovely details. The kitchen has all you need and the whole house was very clean. It is true that the bathroom is rather small, and the bedroom upstairs doesn't give enough room to stand upright, but for us this was no problem, it actually added to the overall charm and coziness of the house. The beds were very comfortable. All in all we spend some very nice days at this place and we would come back anytime :)

Fournil Rural is een toplocatie en aanrader om te verblijven !!

Toplocatie met heel vriendelijke eigenares. Alle comfort is aanwezig. Alleen minder geschikt voor grote mensen omwille van de moeilijke bereikbaarheid van het bed op de mezzanine.

Bed op mezzanine is moeilijk toegankelijk. Vooral voor diegene die op de verste plek slaapt.

Geweldige accommodatie in een prachtige omgeving. Goed ontspannen

Knus huisje in een rustige/stille omgeving. Huisje is schoon, goed verzorgd. Hele mooie plek achter het huis waar je buiten kan zitten met (tot nu toe) veel privacy (naast het huis wordt er een groot huis gebouwd). Infrarood sauna beschikbaar (1 persoons). Een mand met hout (inclusief lucifers, aanmaakhout en aanmaakblokjes) beschikbaar voor een fatsoenlijke prijs. Vriendelijke ontvangst door een vriendelijke gastvrouw. Fijne communicatie ook voor aanvang van het verblijf via de booking.com app.

Zeer kleine badkamer. Vervelende trap naar de vide (optie tot anti slip op treden?)
