Loved our stay

Veerryyy spacey and clean rooms. Restaurant at the location. The hotel itself is located in a very small village without shops etc. The surroundings are nice, a après ski restaurant is only a couple of minutes drive away. We wish the staff a bit more warmth in their interaction with guests

Nice hotel in a nice place but charmless service and not value for money if restaurant is closed.

Clean, spacious rooms. Set in beautiful countryside with nice walks. Breakfast food was good but you had to get up from the table and go and find the owner if you wanted something.

In contrast to the beautiful setting, the hotel’s owner is completely charmless. We stayed on a Tuesday in school holidays and the restaurant was closed. This could have been clearer on Booking.com. The owner was v defensive about this. Hotel has no public areas, we couldn’t even get a drink from the (non-existent) bar. So it felt more like a (expensive) bed and breakfast than a hotel.

Wonderful cozy and friendly hotel in a peaceful and quiet village

Very cozy, clean and comfortable Hotel. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was exceptional, very good quality, and a great selection of fresh food.

I couldn’t rate the restaurant which was closed due to illness. Bathrooms in the double room had no separating door, as reported by other guests- you should be aware of this, but the bathroom was otherwise perfectly clean and comfortable.

Excellent location, very close to Coo and Spa but away from the crowds, lovely spot surrounded by astonishing natural sceneries. The host was extremely friendly to all guests and fluent in both French and Dutch.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is very well located and the host was very gentle to explain us the main hiking routes and things to do around. In this pandemic times we could enjoy the experience of “dining out” in our own room. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious. Highly recommended!

Prima ontbijt in buffetvorm, alles aanwezig. Ook 's Avonds lekker gegeten. Leuke locatie.

Toch wel wat lawaai van buiten 's nachts ook al is het een rustig dorpje. Diegenen die het appartement hadden konden vanuit de slaapkamer enkel de lucht zien. Er was één koppel dat in het andere gebouw sliep. Het salon was in de traphal en het licht daar was met een sensor waardoor het regelmatig uitging. Vlees was wel te veel gebakken waardoor het taai was.

Een betoverend plekje om te landen.

Het diner in het restaurant was verrukkelijk. Het ontvangst was hartelijk, de kamer comfortabel en netjes. Het ontbijt was aangenaam met verse producten en je kon als extra eitjes en spek naar voorkeur bijvragen. De locatie is rustig en pittoresk. Een plekje om naar terug te keren.

De ligging was heel rustig en mooie omgeving, de man die ons ontving was zeer beleefd en deed zijn best om ins in het Engels te behelpen. De kamer is mooi, alles is aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Het ontbijt was heel verzorgd en lekker. Voor een rustige vakantie zou ik dit hotel zeker aanraden!

Het 4e bed, is zo eentje die je uitschuift. Dat matras is heel dun waardoor je bijna tegen de grond ligt. Ik begrijp natuurlijk wel dat dit niet anders mogelijk is.

Schmuckes Hotel mit wunderschöner Terrasse.

Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum von Wanne in einer wunderschönen Landschaft. Gepflegte Unterkunft mit einem wunderschönen Außenbereich zum Sitzen, Trinken und Essen. Wir haben das vorzügliche Abendessen draußen genossen. Unser teppichfreies Zimmer war mit allem, was man braucht, ausgestattet und bot ein Bad in schöner Größe - großzügiger Duschbereich. Unsere E-Bikes konnten wir sicher in einer Garage unterstellen und aufladen. Frühstück mit regionalen Produkten mehr als ok.

Leider befindet sich weder vor den Fenstern der Zimmer noch des Restaurants ein Schutz gegen Mücken und Fliegen. Mit der Folge, dass ein gemütliches Frühstücken ohne ständiges Schlagen nach den Tierchen nicht möglich war. Auch im Zimmer ist so - selbst bei geschlossenen Gardinen - ein Öffnen der Fenster ohne Besuch von Mücken oder Fliegen nicht möglich. Hier würden wir unbedingt dazu anraten, Fliegengitter vor den Fenstern anbringen zu lassen. Gerade bei der warmen Temperaturen ist Schlafen ohne geöffnete Fenster schwierig. Das war der einzige Wehrmutstropfen, ansonsten alles bestens.
