Near to Troyes. Easy to use as a base. Great parking.

Old quirky interesting house. Good location. Off street parking suitable for small trailer and large family car. 2 minute walk to supermarket and 15 minute walk to town.

House is in desperate need of a deep clean and some love! 2 bedrooms (kids slept in) at ground floor level so as we were in a loft room had to have their windows shut at night so no airflow, fans would help. House very dark due to shutters and extension. Furniture very dated and single beds uncomfortable. Back garden neglected with old stained plastic furniture. House could be gorgeous with a deep clean and a sympathetic to age & history renovate - it would then be perfect.

Great house

Quirky charming house but very comfortable and equipped with everything you needed. Lots of hot water too. Great for travelling with a group including dogs as there was an enclosed section of garden at the back. Supermarket close by. Parking on driveway was helpful and for our second car there was parking outside the petrol station immediately opposite. Easy to distance to walk/drive and park and explore Troyes.

Fun property in great location and plenty of space

Great location, easy walk into Troyes city centre. Very spacious house, very individual and quirky, games were provided which we used after returning from the evening meal. Good Wifi (with insanely long password), parking next to the house on the driveway.

We thought you could do with a few more mugs, drinking glasses (for water, etc.) and wine glasses (I think there were only 3). Some rooms could do with better curtains to aid sleeping, The front bedroom was quite noisy because of traffic going past in the night.

Lovely home

We loved staying at this house it is much bigger than it first looks . We stayed here on our way to the mountains and on our return journey. We loved the rustic feel of the property . The hosts also left us little treats every time and the Christmas decorations were an added bonus. We cooked dinner here and there are condiments available which is great when your traveling and don't want to carry them. There is also off street parking on a driveway and it is close to all amenities. The first evening stop we walked to the local supermarket and felt very safe in the area. A perfect place to stop of or to explore the local area. Thank you for letting us enjoy your lovely home .

This is a quirky and interesting place to stay. We really liked the location- easy to walk into Troyes. Also car parking on the drive. Our host also allowed us to arrive early

the house its spacious, the beds comfortable, very characteristic and charming, very clean, plenty of space, the little garden it was wonderful and calm, we stayed only one night but we did enjoy a lot

You will either love or hate this place. It is unique,old,lots of rooms connected together. Sometimber in the walls. Very traditional French and unrenovated. Not a sleek modernist white box. The host left us a nice note to welcome us. The WiFi worked. It was good value

The towels and bedding were quite old. The house is on a busy road opposite a garage.

Logement triste, vieille chaumiere en pitieux état. Literie d'un autre âge et très limite pour le confort. Ustensiles de cuisine dépareillés, peu fonctionnelles et défraîchis. Canapé et fauteuil lasserés par un chat, chien. Installation électrique dangereuse.. Salle de bain juste propre.. nous avons trouvé des touffes de poils de chien sur le sol.

Ca dépanne mais je n'y retournerai pas

L'accès est facile. C'est grand. J'ai aimé me poser des question sur l'histoire de cette maison, comment les propriétaires successifs en sont arrivés à cet organisation spatiale ? Mystère...

Pour le reste, la rénovation est très rudimentaire ce qui laisse à penser que la maison n'est pas propre alors qu'elle l'est certainement... L'installation électrique est archaïque, je recommande d'ailleurs un audit par un professionnel.

Leuk, huiselijk en voor herhaling vatbaar

Wat een verrassende binnenkant van het huisje. Het voelt heel huiselijk en is voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. De slaapkamer op zolder is verrassend ruim en het bed heel goed. We hebben echt genoten van ons verblijf en kunnen deze accommodatie zeker aanbevelen.

Het huisje is gedateerd. Daardoor was het niet overal even schoon (bv. stofnestjes aan de plafondbalken) Voor ons was dat geen probleem, maar iemand met een stofallergie zou hier last kunnen krijgen.

MOYEN, c'était propre pour le principal

maison beaucoup trop dans son jus, délabrée, du papier peint qui se décolle et des menuiseries abîméés. Certaines portes ne ferment pas, la cuisine notamment et d'autres ont une clé mais qu'on ne peut pas tourner (chambre donnant sur le piano). il y a des pièces où les interrupteurs ne fonctionnent pas et on on reste dans le noir (le sas vers l'etage ainsi que le garage, qui donne accès au jardin), les fenêtres sont en simple vitrage et abîmées au niveau de la menuiserie. la porte du garage est très fine, j'avais vraiment l'impression qu'on pouvait la défoncer en un coup d'épaule de même que la porte d'entrée où il suffit de donner un coup de poing dans le verre simple vitrage pour passer la main et récupérer la clé à l'intérieur. On ne s'est pas sentis en sécurité. Le lit à l'étage n'était pas fait , il y avait uniquement une alèse poussiéreuse sur le matelas poussière avec une couette sans housse posée dessus. Il y a des toiles d'araignées au plafond dans les chambres. Par rapport au prix et à la note de 8 sur 10 nous avons été extrêmement surpris et déçu du logement lui-même, ainsi que la réactivité de l'hôtesse.

Maison atypique et très sympa, chambre en haut complètement indépendante avec toilette, petite terrasse trop mignonne et agréable Deux chambres en enfilade en bas, Possibilité de se garer gratuitement, c'est appréciable

Si vraiment on va dans les détails, le côté compliqué des deux chambres du bas si on doit se relever la nuit pour aller aux toilettes, tv très très compliquée qq fois à régler, mais sinon rien de vraiment négatif

Location très limite, mais charmante personne au téléphone

Pas de petit déjeuner prévu

la douche est super glissante, les toilettes pas adaptées a des grandes personnes, trop étroites, les meubles comme le canapé très abimé , les carrelages ont fait leur temps. La cuisine mérite un bon coup de nettoyage. On nous avez promis une place de parking, pas d'accès , obliger de se garer de l'autre côté de la rue, dans un quartier un peu chaud, pour une nuit ça va, mais pas pour un séjour plus long.

La situation géographique

La configuration de la maison est mal faite les 2 chambres en bas sont en enfilade dont l'une sans fenêtre. De plus on entend pas mal les voitures passées car bord de route et simple vitrage. La cuisine mériterait des améliorations notamment pour les ustensiles. Les casseroles sont en mauvais état. La salle de bains aussi mériterait une rénovation, le pommeau de douche est en mauvais état.

Le gîte est spacieux nous y avons passé un excellent moment le temps d’un week-end et y revenir plusieurs jours est tout à fait envisageable . Excellent rapport qualité prix. Accès facile sur tous les points . Hôte facilement joignable en cas de question.

Het huisje zelf beviel, echter de ligging is beroerd.

Het huisje zelf is oud en heeft veel karakter. Het is ruim en op een acceptabele loopafstand van het centrum (1,5 km). Je kunt de auto kwijt op het pad. De bedden zijn prima. Op een paar honderd meter een bakker en een supermarktje.

De spoorweg die 25 meter achter het huis loopt en een paar keer per nacht en om 5 uur ‘s morgens een goederentrein produceert. Aan de voorzijde van het huis ligt een drukke weg.

Jolie maison ancienne.

La maison a beaucoup de charme, il y a une chambre autonome à l'étage et deux chambres au rez de chaussée, pas de vis-à-vis. Boîte à clés pour l'entrée. Le plus, le piano 😊

Attention peut-être à la douche glissante. Il y a de petites marches un peu partout, cette maison ancienne est difficile d'accès aux personnes à mobilité réduite.
