Parking — This unit parks one car in a garage. Access can be tight due to the alley configuration. Large vehicles are very hard to maneuver in and out.

No Smoking - Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises. An additional cleaning fee of $100 may be charged for cigarette butts found on the property

No Parties - Parties without prior written permission are not welcome here. Please spare our environment. A $100 cleaning fee will be charged for any confetti found.

This property is in a great location. It is well stocked with everything one might need during their stay. Plenty of towels! Very convenient to have a washer and dryer in the unit. The beds were quite comfortable. There isn’t really a “living room TV”, but that did not bother us at all. We did not use the garage parking because we have a large vehicle, however, we didn’t have any trouble finding on street parking- mostly right in front! I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location a block away from dog beach.Great roof top view with a brand new grill. Beautiful to watch sunsets and dine outdoors. Lots of space in the house on multiple levels as long as you don’t mind some stairs.I loved having a garage and if you have a small car and you’re good at backing into tight spaces it’s perfect! Having a full size washer and dryer is great too. We utilized the outdoor shower a lot too. The place could use a little tlc in some of the furniture/decor/pillows/bedding/towels were pretty worn-definitely one home goods trip could remedy most of those things :) And if it’s hot like it was the one day you may end up sleeping in the loft or downstairs bc those are the only areas with mini split ac All in all we would stay again bc the location is great!

Property was just what we needed close to the beach /dog beach and rooms. The bottom room is basically its own tiny apartment which was great for our teens. Only side note i would add is that some inside doors was a little struggle to lock but not a major issue as a family. The host was also super kind enough to order some utensils since we did jot have enough.

Check in was easy and online, but the place is aged compared to the pictures. Furniture and some finishes could use a refresh. Outdoor furniture was ripped and sundried. The whole place, inside and out, could have been cleaned better prior to checking in. Perhaps it was, but not well or they just did a quick clean between reservations. The downstairs bed/pull out is very uncomfortable, so we just went with the couch upstairs. Overall was a good place, great location, by the beach and markets/food, but could have been cleaner and better kept.

The location of this place is ideal. Walking distance to anything you might need like a cvs, restaurants, convenient stores and the beach. We really enjoyed the dog beach nearby. Place was clean and orderly. Looking forward to our next visit.

The rooftop deck was amazing! The house is one block from the beach. Great local Mexican eateries. Recommend Cliffs Cafe for breakfast! I would go back there again.

Overall, the house felt a little smaller/tighter inside than we were expecting. There was only one functional TV remote, with the upstairs remote missing a battery and non-functional even with new batteries we purchased - this made it hard to have simultaneous TV use in different rooms. The house itself was very walkable to everything in OB and the views from the rooftop deck were great. The master bed comforter had a small stain toward the foot area which is less than desirable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Overall this was a good stay. Everything was clean and location is good. Parking can be a bit challenging if you have larger vehicle. Very prompt response from host whenever we reached to him.

The property is well maintained and clean. I loved the multiple levels and balconies. The rooftop was exceptionally comfortable with a hammock and plenty of seating!

Location great proximity to beach and downtown. Kitchen supplies bare minimum. Roof deck beautiful sunsets. Beds very uncomfortable. Lower level couch/ bed broken. Pedro was quick to respond, but problem was not resolved. Bed linens and towels soiled/ stained, smelled unclean. We would not stay at this VRBO location again.

We had a nice stay here with our family, enjoyed the rooftop views and balcony space. It's walking distance to the beach, restaurants (including a great Italian spot - Pazzos Italian - right down the street). Pedro made things easy with directions and communication. We'd be glad to stay here again.

Great little place by the beach. Closest to dog beach but easy enough to walk further down if you’re there without your pooch. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. This place has lots of stairs so don’t book here if that will bother you. So many outdoor porches and a rooftop deck. The WiFi signal was pretty weak so if that’s important to you maybe look somewhere else.

Our family took a vacation to San Diego and stayed at the property at the beginning of August. The home was cute, close to the beach (a 5 minute walk), had plenty of options for beds. The teenagers loved the loft area! It is fairly centrally located to all the touristy things you want to do like Sea World, Zoo, downtown, beaches. It was a great choice and area for that! The air conditioning was a little tricky to figure out so could use a little more detailed directions. Internet was a little spotty as well. Garage is TIGHT so we ended up parking on the street often. No biggie, just be aware of the signs on the street for street sweeping each week so you don't end up with a ticket (we learned the hard way). Overall, I think we would stay here again. The owner was super responsive and helpful for questions. You won't go wrong with the location for sure.

House was a very cool design. Loved the rooftop. It got very warm in the afternoons. I was expecting AC per listing not just the mini splits. The homeless were constantly out the balcony digging through the trash. One sad young woman that is mentally ill was yelling the whole time. Those are circumstances out of your control but not pleasant. The house was very nice though!

Great location with a great rooftop barbecue area. We could see the sunsetting at the dog beach From the rooftop , which was only two blocks from our place.We had the best time at the dog beach too! We are hoping to come back soon.

The property is in a great location but could use a deep cleaning and some TLC. The furniture, beds, and linens are a little tired and need updating. The washing machine was not operable, nor was the outdoor shower filled with leaves. We spent most of our time touring the area rather than at the house, so it was easy for our group to overlook these items of concern.

We loved our stay! We were able to easily walk to the beach, coffee and food. While the house is narrow, it was comfortable and unique. We enjoyed lunch on the roof with a beautiful view and slept great. We definitely recommend!!

Loved being able to walk to all the bars and shops we miss visiting when we lived in San Diego. The pictures are definitely when it was new as the rugs were dirty and stained. The kitchen counter was cluttered with other visitor's left-over food items. It wasn't as sparkly clean as the ad shows and it wasn't ideal for 2 couples. There is only 1 actual bedroom. However, we spent most of our time outside of the unit, so it wasn't a big deal. We would stay again, we would just have more realistic expectations of the unit. Thank you!

Overall a great place. It was a smooth check in and check out process. Really close to the beach and good restaurants. It was somewhat difficult to stay with our kids due to the layout of the house but enjoyed the location. If you don’t have young children, great place to stay with friends or family.

We stayed with our teenage daughter and her friend and they had their own space on the first floor which they loved. Easy walking to beach, restaurants/bars, and shopping. Also convenient to zoo and downtown San Diego. Rooftop view is amazing. Host was responsive to any questions we had. Would book again!

The property is close to the beach, has lots of easy parking, within easy walking distance of lots of the beach and restaurants, and was tidy. There really is only one bedroom, however. The other sleeping spaces are a loft that is fun for kids, but not particularly easy to get to, and a sleeper sofa on the first floor. There was not a place to eat together, even though there is a kitchen.

We had a great time with family friends who visited from east coast. The lounging area was a bit small for all of us sitting together but the roof top deck was a perfect place to hang out while enjoying beautiful sunsets. The rooftop deck had plenty of seating options, a large table and a grill conveniently hooked to the gas line. Thanks for hosting us!

I decided to use this site vs the Air one and found this really nice looking property. I have never used any of these apps, because I’ve only stayed in hotels. I’ll tell you what, this home looks exactly as it does on the pictures! What a pleasant surprise! The home was very clean and orderly. It was well supplied with towels, bathroom and kitchen supplies! It was so accommodating and comfortable. I hate to travel because I always have a hard time sleeping on foreign beds. But the bed they had in the master bedroom was very comfortable and I sleep very well! The pillows were nice too! Thank you for this! There are many restaurants and shops literally a block or two away! The beach is only a 4-5 minute walk away! It was nice to have a garage to park my car in because I didn’t have to search for street parking. True to the advisement given by the owner, it is very tight to get into, but I am a driving master, so no sweat getting my mid sized SUV in there! It will fit a mid sized sedan even better! The home also has a washer and dryer! My wife loved the rooftop terrace and she took many pictures up there! The neighborhood was relatively safe. I was able to go on a walk with my young family and no problem. There were some homeless folks hanging out here and there, but they were the kind that keep to themselves. They were the aggressive panhandling types and there wasn’t urine and feces all over the place like in Los Angeles. We will return to this location!
