The wildlife was incredible
The price did to change somewhat after i put in payment, i assume it was taxes but didn't honestly check. It was $800-900 and ended up being over $1000

The place was comfy and cozy. Had a great deck with a fire pit. Well stocked kitchen with dishwasher. Quiet area yet close to downtown. Worked well for our dog. We loved it because it was a stand alone home not condo.
My only complaint was the WiFi was next to nothing. Had to use my own data plan which was very costly.

The house is a little older than what I initially thought but was cheery on the inside and well taken care of. What impressed me the most, and I cannot stress this enough, was the immaculate cleanliness. The house was squeaky clean, the kitchen, bathrooms, all of it. That is important to me, especially if a house is older.
Like a lot of vacation homes, the floor plan is a little different from a typical house. A bedroom with bunk beds and a third bed is on the bottom floor with a bathroom and access to a garage and a laundry room. The main living area, kitchen and large bedroom with a huge walk-in closet, and full bathroom are on the second floor. The second floor has a wrap around deck with two entrances to the house. You can also access the deck from stairs on the outside.
The owners have put a lot of thought into what you might need and there are many places to charge all your devices throughout the house. The kitchen is fully functional with lots of cookware and cutting boards and utensils and even Fiesta ware!
The deck has lots of seating and was great to hang out on at night and look at the stars.
The neighborhood is pretty cute! You are less than a mile from downtown Estes Park and maybe 4 miles from entry to RMNP. Also very close to the Safeway and Starbucks and McDonald’s If you want to do a quick drive through for something. Really the location seems to be in the center of everything.
I really liked the place, even if it’s a little small, so I can’t say there is anything I really didn’t like about it. The second bedroom is pretty bare bones - but honestly I think that just gives people more room to maneuver with all the items one has when traveling, like suitcases and bags.
The internet service was having some issues, but I texted the owner and the manager and I believe it was the actual owner who responded right away. Was not their fault, just a service outage, but they really did all they could to get ahold of the provider and find out what was going on.
All in all, I really enjoyed staying here and would do it again. The location is so convenient and you can really access several parts of town within a couple of minutes. Highly recommend.
