Riverside 9 - 3rd Floor

Great location, very comfortable and clean. Ideal for our needs, a real home from home.

The flat itself was superb but the directions for getting to it need to be clearer- it’s also a shame that the main entrance stairway is so grotty and institutional in feel ( not that the hosts can help that!) Also confusing was that when we reached the very top of the stairs. there were just two flat numbers ( 3 and 6) and ours was 9. Nowhere did it say you open the door marked 6 which leads you onto a landing and 9 is at the end of it. Same happened in the car park, there was no 9! Also, I didn’t get the pass to put in my car until i got to the flat, so leaving my car “passless” for 20 mins or so ( it’s a ten min walk from car park to flat) All these things are a small price to pay for such brilliant value and just could have been more clearly communicated

Nothing. It was all lovely!

The apartment was spacious, very warm and in a central location. The beds were comfy and the shower /bathroom was to a good standard. The apartment offers all the essentials you need for a comfortable stay at a basic level. It was spotlessly clean throughout.

The sofa, chair and foot stool weren't in the best condition, they weren't comfortable/ lumpy and had the fake leather peeling off. I would have preferred blinds in all the bedrooms as the front facing rooms felt a bit exposed without them. With a bar very close by it was noisy late at night, whilst the apartment isn't responsible for this. I could imagine some visitors could find this difficult... There is over 50 stairs to the apartment which might be difficult for some people staying.
