A comfortable, well-located apartment with a friendly host — perfect for a short stay in Paralia Kat

Nice apartment, about a 5–10 minute walk from the center of Paralia Katerini. There’s plenty of street parking right in front of the house (though I’m not sure if that’s still the case during the high season, as we visited off-season). The host was very friendly and helpful — key collection was easy, and they provided us with all the information we needed. The apartment has two rooms, several beds (three or four, I don’t remember exactly), a small kitchen, and a compact bathroom. It was more than enough space for the two of us.

I definitely recommend the house

We slept only one night, in transit. But it was perfect for us. The host is responsive, waited for us in the evening when we arrived and helped us with everything we needed. We had our own parking place in front of the house. The house is very close to the beach. The rooms were spacious and the beds are very confortable. I recommend the house and we would definitely choose it again :)

The kitchen is pretty small, for a long stay it would be a bit dificult to manage. But there are a lot of tavernas in the city, so no worries :)

Everything is ok, nice owners, peace and quiet.

Just an info: It can get a bit cold at night at the end of October. It's a pity I didn't take an electric or regular kettle with me, because we didn't have any, I have some I don't need and I could leave them, but maybe we'll come back someday. But we managed, we boiled water in a pot :)

Good price, nice host, BUT...

Great host, a very nice person. The price was very attractive. The apartment had a big balcony.

The bathroom was quite terrible, unfortunately. There was mold everywhere in the shower. The shower had a rain option, but it didnt work, it was not even connected. There was not a single hanger in the bathroom to hang your towel or clothes. There was only top light in the room, no smaller reading lamps.

We were completely satisfied with everything, the bed was wonderfully comfortable for me and I slept great there. The host is kind and helpful.

I can't really say anything bad about the accommodation, but I would only go on holiday to Katerini's beach if I was forced to do so at gunpoint.

All of my expectations were fulfilled, without any surprises. The accommodations were well-maintained, and all of the appliances were in good working condition. First of all, I have to say that our host was really pleasant and helpful. We hade later check-in time, but it was not a problem for him. We had spaceous apartment with comfortable beds and big terrace. House is very close to city center, but far enough from noise, just like we wanted. Thank you again for everything :)

Excellent stay

An accommodation very close to the beach (2 minutes walk), very close to the market, restaurants, shops (3 to 10 minutes walk), clean rooms, lovely and kind hosts ready to help you with everything you want. This accommodation runs after self-catering concept, kitchen and bath are basic equiped, provides fresh towels at the beginning at your stay, free wi-fi, big balcony, quiet place, suitable for families with children. The parking could be done in front of the property free of charge. We will surely come back at this property.

Good value for money

The apartment is ideal for shorter stays. There are 2 beds in one room, and there is an another room, which was closed, because we were only 2. If it were fully occupied, the kitchen and the bathroom would be a bit small for so many people, but for 2 it's ok (we stayed only one night). The host is a very friendly old man, who speaks many languages. The apartment is very close to the beach and restaurants.

The apartment would need a little restoration. Many things are old that would not need much money, like the curtain in the bathroom, or the bathroom cabinet, and maybe a more thorough cleaning.
