Worst experience ever, checked out the same day and booked a hotel nearby.

The distance from where you pic up the keys to the apartment is far to walk with luggage.

This apartment doesn't match the photos on Bookings.com at all. The staircase is so steep that you can not manage to go up and down with your luggage. The bathroom is on the top floor, and very uncomfortable.

Not very clean. in the bathroom clear signs of black fungus in the shower/bath. did not use it as this is potentially very dangerous for your health. the location is nice but very noisy at night.

Superb

The location is just perfect, dead center everything. Clean and cozy interior. Bars and breakfast places are literally just outside the door. Definitely value for money, would come back.

Kitchen utensils could be a bit more, although the bare basics are there, but for example not a kitchen knife and fridge cools slowly. No idea what is the minimum or maximum heat when using the stove. Shower works, but I have seen more comfortable ones. We didn't mind the noise outside, but you're not allowed to put on some music yourself.

An OK stay

The location was central. The mattresses were comfy.

It was not the same apartment that was originally advertised to me so was disappointed to turn up to a location below the standard we were expecting. It was lacklustre. The shower was awful. Very little pressure and an old shower head. Rain water leaked through the vent in the downstairs toilet so the floor around the loo was constantly flooded.

The furnishings are unsociable and without atmosphere. Mortal sin. In one room there are three large double beds. It looks like a youth hostel. The walls are brown. Light switches in the living room and shower are defective. Entrance is very shabby, clutter everywhere, it looks like entering a squat. A missed opportunity to make these rooms really beautiful!

Ok apartment but does not exactly match what is advertised

The location is amazing! Plenty of cozy places around; breakfast places, restaurants, board game café, bars etc. The apartment itself is cozy and located in a nice historical building.

While the apartment is cozy, it does not really look like on the photos. It's a little more worn in reality. Also, worth noting that it seems smaller than advertised. We were two couples traveling together and chose this apartment because it specifically stated that it offered two sets of beds. That and the advertised size of the apartment made us think we would get separate sleeping areas, but we didn´t. The two double beds stand right next to each other on the upstair floor. Here you might think "well, didn't you look at the photos?". We did. However, the photos are compiled from several apartments rented through the same company, so it is really hard to tell what belongs to which apartment. Worth noting as well is the fact that it can get rather hot under the roof, so you´d probably want to sleep with the windows open in the summer. However, that would get you some noise from the street. We were awakened at 2 AM by two drunk young men shouting "yoohoo" from the street just for the fun of it. Admittedly, we found it somewhat funny, but not everyone might. Finally, be aware that the steps to the apartment are very narrow and steep, so if you have reduced mobility or you´re just logging a huge and heavy piece of luggage around, you might want to pick another place to stay.

Cosy but noisy and non responsive staff

Spacious. Good location to move around Antwerp. Charming ancient house with its inconveniences: huge flights of stairs from one room to the other, noisy and sometimes smelly pipes...

Not a minute of sleep due to the noise outside (at least in summer). We found a serious problem when we arrived and the staff took 24 hours to even respond and did not fix it in 3 days. Not even an apology. The beds/linen are of medium quality

Checkin was very stressful but the property is beautiful.

beautiful house, amazing location and just all around historically amazing.

It was really hard to find. The person who gave us the key wanted to send directions through What’s App, which I don’t have. He did email them but we had to locate it on our own because we had no Wi-Fi

The bathroom was a bit dirty and not the best bathroom ive seen. Theres not really a shower only a bath tub which is a bit annoying but the toilets are fine

Teleurgesteld in de accommodatie..

Leuke stijl van woonst

Hygiëne mocht écht wel beter! Enorm veel lawaai (luide muziek tot in de vroege uurtjes) van omgeving. Koffieapparaat was niet volledig. Beschimmeld bestek in afwasmachine (die niet gebruikt mocht worden). Bestek in de lade was niet afgewassen. Amper spullen in de kast waarmee je kan koken. Oven is mini en werkt slecht (voor een app van 11 personen zeer onhandig). Kraan op badkamer hangt los. Geen “extra wc” zoals beschreven. Dus maar 1 wc voor de hele groep. Lijkt op de foto’s ook echt veel groter en chiquer dan het werkelijk is.
