In The Air cosy room (Cœur Historique de Liège)

Lots of afternoon natural light, very nice bed and general layout. 2pm check in was very much appreciated, as were the clear check in instructions. Property seemed well cleaned. Location was very convenient and lively but felt fairly safe. A good base.

Smaller than expected, though not to the extent of being a significant problem. A couple of areas could do with polishing to be a little bit nicer aesthetically. The staircase is very steep and there isn’t much headroom, though it’s manageable. It was quite hot while we were there during the afternoon. But the fans helped. An oven would have been nice, not sure if I missed it. While the provided spice and seasoning rack was nice, there wasn’t any salt that we could find. But the provision was very helpful nonetheless. The label for my room’s key safe had fallen off when I arrived. There were a few random pieces of left behind possessions at the flat in drawers here and there. All of this is really minor tbh.

Un logement très sympa, bien décoré et très bien situé. Plus grand qu'il n'y parait sur les photos. Nous n'avons manqué de rien et avons passé un excellent séjour.

I liked the location. Walking distance to the touristic attractions and restaurants. Very close to a safe and good parking place. The towels provided were new and clean.

The general cleaness of the flat was not good. There was dust and non-cleaned corners everywhere. The fridge was dirty. The boiler had old water inside, even with a big green-grey funghi. Luckily there was vinnegar in the kitchen and we could wash the boiler properly to heat water. The WC was not clean. The sheet on the bed was so old that you could see and feel cotton balls everywhere. Sleep was not pleasant. Sheets gave the impression that were not clean, although the bed linen was washed. Not enough pans and pots to cook basic stuff, not even to cook eggs for breakfast. All in all, not an enjoyable experience. Owners shall request the cleaning person to increase the cleaning standards. It is better to increase a bit the price of the stay per night to cover for the costs of proper cleaning standards. Owners shall buy new bed linen. Booking.com customers are used to higher standards of cleaness.
