A huge apartment in the middle of the city with distinctively masculine styling

The check-in was managed by the bar stafff of the place on the ground floor. That was pretty easy, access to the flat was a bit complex with a door fob, then a lift key and a front door key. The decor was frankly a bit weird, like a man cave, including never-commissioned gym weight-machine, black floor tiles and large mirror in the bedroom. These sort of things don't bother me, but I could see it wouldn't be to everyone's taste. The place is huge and sparsely furnished.

Beautiful big apartment to stay in Liege Centre

Wow this apartment is so big and beautiful. When we arrived we got the keys at the restaurant. We were welcomed very friendly and we were guided to the apartment. He showed us how we enter the hallway and how to operate the elevator. After that he opent the door and told us if there was anything we needed to go to the restaurant. The apartment is so big and in the middle of the centre. The bathroom was very nice and the light in the shower is a nice addition. My son lost his stuffed animal. It’s very friendly that they send it back to our home.

TERRIBLE, BAD - NOT RECOMMENDED

AWFUL

Terrible very narrow spiral staircase ( 19 steps ) & then a further narrow wood floored staircase to get to the room. Almost impossible to get standard sized bags up the stairs with ZERO assistance from any staff. Also the top part of the staircase was in darkness , until the light switch could be found. This is potentially hazardous to one's health and very likely impossible to exit if there is a fire below impinging on this excuse for a staircase There was a fake aircon wall mounted control unit!! Extremely exorbitant - well over double my usual average/night - in far more superior accommodation. Also NON refundable

Great space for price

The space was excellent for a family, the kids enjoyed having their own space. I enjoyed having a full kitchen. Great value for the price

The area was less than desirable, there was a huge construction site just outside the door that was filthy and covered in rats, my daughter counted 13 outside our window. Being in the more downtown core thing were obviously very loud

It was an entire apartment so had everything we needed.

The bar which rents out the apartment was open but the restaurant was closed so we got food someplace else and went back to eat and order drinks. We were told we could not bring outside food in even though their food service ended. So we had to eat somewhere else and go back for drinks. We only ordered one drink…would have been a lot more if we could have stayed to eat our meal.

Appart-Hotel Léopold Liège Centre, YES! Liege, No - unless you want to stay on a building site...

The keys were kept at a local restaurant/bar and the barmaid took us to the flat. The flat is much bigger than expected and has a cool industrial wharehouse/left vibe. It is quirky with unexpected nooks and crannies all over the place. Beds comfortable. Good soap, etc. Free coffee (Nespresso!) and tea. DEfinitle worth coming back to when the regneration of the local area has been completed.

Liege is a building site so accessing the town centre was a nightmare. Google was not helpful becdause of this and Belgian drivers and pedestrains are ruthless.... there was a 40m crane in the next street and rubbish all over the place. That is why some of the above scores may seem negative.

Awful noisy flat managed in unprofessional way

The flat is fine, spacious and with all you need BUT: see next section

1) a disco bar just in front of the flat put music till 7.a.m.. dozens people of the bar doing a lot of noiose through the whole night. Impossibile to sleep. 2) no air conditioning. When is warm it is uncomfortable and opening the windows is not an option due to the noise outside. 3) reaching flat with the car is not possible. You have to park nearby which in our case with small children was not easy. Owner did indicate there is a parking but never said it was the only option. 4) company who manage the property are only reachable per message via booking and it takes a few hours before they reply. There is a phone number but they never answer. 5) you collect the key at a restaurant where there is nobody who speak English or any other language than French. The staff is not prepared to receive customers in a professional way. 6) owner ask 200 euro deposit. Many people in the review says that they never got the money back and that the owner justify it with an hypothetical damage. I asked the lady at the restaurant to come and check with us that the flat is OK and she refused. I asked to put me in contact with someone who check the flat and she said she cannot put me in contact. All in all a very noisy flat managed in a very unprofessional way. Never again

Not a good place

Its not adapted to familly. Too much stairs in the appartment, it can be dangerous for kids. The sheets smelled terrible as if they had not been taken out of the washing machine in time. After an 8 hour drive, we had to wait 30 minutes to receive the keys. The place is full of drug addicts. To be avoided!

need to climb the ledder to get to the bedrom from the rest of the flat the stairs to get to the flat are narrow and extremely uncomfortable, especially with bags, additional deposit required, really hard to find

Bad

IT IS A FRAUD! They make you deposit 200€‎ upon check-in, which is their policy and we were completly fine with it, but one day after our check-out, they informed us via booking's customer service, that we allegedly caused these scratches on the cooktop as depected in the picture below and that is why they are going to keep our deposit money. We stayed there for just 2 nights and we did not use any kind of electric appliances, especially the kitchen supplies because we ate outside of course. Who goes on a two-day trip and freaking cooks? And even though we took pictures upon our check-out in order to avoid any kind of accusations, they blamed us for it and literally told us it's their word against ours! We tried our best in order to take our money back but this seems to be a very well organised crime. THIS HOTEL SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.

Nice apartment

Centrally located cosy room. Huge smart tv with Netflix. Friendly staff.

The floor is a little bit noisy. The stairs to the apartment (2nd floor) are too steep and narrow. This was not a problem for us but maybe it will be a problem for older guests or guests with big suitcases. Bathroom's curtain should be bigger in order to cover the whole window area.

A bargain for such a central location, we could have stayed longer, it was so comfortable!

Great price for all the space, immaculately clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We missed the part about a €200 deposit being needed by card or cash and struggled as we only had Apple Pay with us which wasn’t accepted for the deposit.
