The property was very comfortable with most things that you would need. The water was lovely and hot and the bathroom really nice. Location is good walkable to the York centre, but there are also bus stops at the end of the road with buses that take you straight to the centre. A nice pub with a beer garden also at the end of the road.
There could have been more tea towels, we only had one for the five days we were there, and there was no welcome pack such as milk, tea bags (although there was coffee). There is a shop at the bottom of the road that you can buy these items from. The washing machine was very noisy and as there is no door on the kitchen to living room while it was on we couldn't hear the TV!

Great Parking, beautifully decorated,comfortable bed, fantastic bath and hot shower,well equipped kitchen and the bonus of a little garden, all a short walk to the centre.
The stairs are a little tight, but very quirky

We needed somewhere near Holgate, so it was perfect for us. Comfortable furnishings. Nice bathroom. Good range of TV channels. Good communication with owner. Great to have parking arranged for us.
The twist of the stairs outside the bathroom felt a little precarious. Two hand towels and a kitchen hand towel would have been helpful. Bathroom mirror needed cleaning. Only three dinner plates.

The house was clean and cosy. We found the bed very comfortable to sleep on. You could walk into town from there or very easily catch a bus from round the corner.
