Super charming room in a great location. The multilingual staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and our time in Madrid enjoyable. I've stayed at a wide range of hotels and Artistic B&B had some of the most responsive staff I've had the pleasure of staying with.

The room is lovely, and a quick walk to all the tourist locations. The staff were very helpful, Ivan was lovely and helped us to get a taxi back to the airport. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed 1 night at the hostel and I was impressed with the hospitality extended by Roberto. We needed to leave our luggage at the hostel early in the morning before check-in and he accommodated our request. He even allowed us to check in early, at 7am as the room was ready. The hostel is located in an old building without lift but it wasn’t a problem as Roberto carried our luggage up and down the stairs. The toilet facilities were modern and the room was clean and comfortable. There was even air conditioning, fan and tv. The hostel is within 10mins walk to Plaza Major and less than 20mins from the train station. We took the bus (3 - 4stops) to and from the station as it was uphill. There are lots of cafes and restaurants located near the hostel, so eating out is super convenient.
I would recommend this hostel to those who plan to walk around the city during their visit.

This was a great value for the money, the staff were really great and very accommodating. Beware, however it is on the sixth floor, and there is no elevator. The location made it worth it.
