The cottage was perfect for our week end of family birthday celebrations - making it extra special

It was cosy but still ample room for 6 people and a dog . The location is brilliant for walking and obviously being next door to an excellent pub serving great food

We were there 3 days in February. Although the cottage was warm enough there wasn’t enough fire wood . We only had the fire on at night but there wasn’t enough wood even for 2 nights . My daughter had to bring some bags of wood .

Lovely comfortable accommodation

The location is brilliant The renovation is of a very high standard The quality of the bed and bedding excellent Very powerful shower The village is beautiful There is a lovely village shop that sells most things. The pub next door excellent. It would have been nice to have a pint of milk in the fridge as I didn’t arrive till after the village shop closed.

Cosy get away in a great location!

Property is lovely and maintained very well - beds super comfy. Pub next door is a great bonus with very friendly bar staff that make you feel very welcome. Perfect location for exploring the local villages with a convenient local shop just down the road.

Beautiful house in the Yorkshire Dales

The whole place is beautifully furnished. Everything you could need for a perfect stay. The location was great for us. Right next to the pub that serves lovely food and easy to get around the Dales from.

Great property, very good location, surrounded by beautiful walks in the Yorkshire Dales.

The property is beautiful and plenty of space inside. Very nice furniture and lots of cottage character. We lit the stove for a couple of evenings which warmed up very quickly, and wood was provided. Managed to park right outside the property on the opposite side of the road which was good. The pub right next door served good food and drinks, but gets very busy, so you need to book well in advance before your stay!

The front door sticks, and certainly plenty of ventilation when closed. Some windows don’t shut completely.

Fantastic stay in a beautiful cosy cottage

This was our second stay here and it didn’t disappoint. Nice spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. The back garden catches sunlight throughout the day so a good place for a cuppa! And it sits next door to a lovely pub :)

Family get together

It was a cosy place to stay with everything you needed after long walks through the magnificent country side. We were a family of six. So the large dinning room was great for us all to sit round.

Great location, really enjoyed our stay. However, cleanliness could have been better.

The location was fantastic for walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, rooms were spacious, had everything you needed….great pub next door!

Front door was a struggle to open/close. There were some damp issues around windows, cleanliness could have been better, it seemed that nobody had stayed for a while, cobwebs, dead insects and hula hoops under bed.

Fantastic time once again!

This is our second break at the cottage as we enjoyed it so much last year. There is plenty of room in the cottage, enclosed small rear garden and next door to the local pub which is excellent for food and has its own bakery with amazing cakes and bread. Plenty of local walks on your doorstep.

Beautifully restored and lavishly furnished cottage in stunning location - with a great pub next door! Spotlessly clean and extremely well maintained. Very comfortable beds. Free, fast broadband and smart TV.

A few obvious items not provided in kitchen, e.g. food mixer, oven baking trays, everyday glasses. Solid oak worktop and rustic tiles behind cooker not very practical and difficult to keep clean. But this is definitely nit-picking as overall we were delighted with the accommodation and would definitely stay there again.

Superb in every way.

Stayed back in April and what a great place and if you want a cottage in this location, don't look anywhere else, simply just book it you won't be disappointed. The hosts are always available should you need them, everything you need is provided and for us this is one we will be recommending to our family and friends and we will certainly be back again.

Nothing at all with the property but during our stay the only pub in the village was closed all week for the landlords holidays, meaning for dining out we had to go into Settle.
