Just be careful when navigating with Google Maps. The hotel is correctly situated with its name but not with its address. Just use the name and you’re good. Apple Maps has the address correctly mapped though.

Great position, great value and a splendid family run establishment.

This is a family run hotel - the owner was kind and very helpful at all times. The Gasthof is in the middle of the Senales Valley surrounded by fabulous walking, glorious wild flower meadows & splendid mountain huts serving hearty & freshly made food at lunchtime. Dinners at the hotel were home made & delicious, as were the breakfasts. Even the bread & jams were made by the family!

On the third day we requested some simple lighter choices on the dinner menu as we found these to be lacking - a delicious home made tomato soup was made available which suited us very well.

La posizione abbastanza infelice lungo la strada. Camera basica senza neanche una lampada sul comodino. Ne ho chiesta una e me l’hanno fornita.

Punto d'appoggio per visitare i Merano

Hotel a 20 minuti di auto da Merano, struttura accogliente, personale gentile e disponibile. Parcheggio davanti alla struttura. Rapporto qualità prezzo lo consiglio, visto i prezzi che ci sono in centro a Merano. Se torneremo in questa zona, sicuramente sappiano dove fermarci!! 😁

Rumoroso per il torrente dietro e la strada davanti? Si ma chissenefrega, quando dormo, dormo! D'inverno con le basse temperature dovrebbero tenere i riscaldamenti più alti, ma noi abbiamo risolto regolando la temperatura del termosifone. Ma ripeto qualità/prezzo la struttura va benissimo! Se c'è un problema, tutto è risolvibile!!

Na ja, nach den Bildern aus der Werbung, die der Wirklichkeit nicht entsprechen, aushaltbar.

Das Frühstück war gut und vielseitig. Die Unterkunft ist zum Teil neu renoviert (Zimmer). Die Gaststube und die Bewirtungsräume sind gemütlich und in Ordnung. Das Treppenhaus und ein Teil der Flure muß renoviert werden. Ebenso sollte die Bausubstanz durch Anstrich von Mauerwerk und Holzverkleidungen und Fensterrahmen wieder ansprechend dargestellt werden. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist je nach Aktivitäten der Gäste ( Wandern oder Wintersport gut, Bummeln, einkaufen, andere Gaststätten nutzen schlechter).

Nur für einen Zwischenstopp geeignet

Wer mit dem Bus fährt, hat die Haltestelle direkt vor dem Haus. Als ein "Boxenstopp" okay (aber nicht länger!) z. B. auf dem Meraner Höhenweg. Das Gastgeberin war freundlich.

Die Durchgangstraße ist auch nachts befahren, die Fenster haben keinen Schallschutz. Der Gasthof ist etwas aus der Zeit gefallen. Das Frühstück war eher einfach, viel Auswahl an Marmelade, die allerdings waren Semmeln wenig ansprechend.

Das hat uns sehr gut gefallen das es wir jederzeit besuchen würden

Das hotel liegt an der strasse aber gut gelegen und genug parkplätze,die besitzerin war sehr freundlich u hilfsbereit.das zimmer war nicht riesig aber ordentlich u sauber.Das frühstück lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig,würde das hotel jedem empfehlen

Rustikale, traditionelle Unterkunft.

Der Restaurantbereich spürt man eine gute Atmosphäre bzw. Aura. Die angebotenen Speisen sind alle hausgemacht, meist mit Wildfleisch kombiniert. Die Salate werden erst bei Bestellung aus dem eigenen Garten frisch gepflückt. Sehr gutes Essen. Bushaltestelle liegt direkt vor der Tür, jede Stunde kommt ein Bus Richtung Meran oder weiter rein ins Schnalstal. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Gastgeberin sehr zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich.

Liegt direkt an der Hauptzubringerstrasse ins Schnalstal. Sehr laut. Bei Nacht Fenster aufmachen eher nicht möglich. Räumlichkeiten sehr hellhörig.

Sentirsi a casa e accolti in una grande famiglia!!

La signora che gestisce la struttura è molto attenta ai bisogni dell’ospite…la cuoca è favolosa fa piatti stupendi e buonissimi sopratutto la selvaggina e i dolci…le camere erano molto pulite e spesso ci cambiavano il set di asciugamani e l ultimo giorno del nostro soggiorno ci ha chiesto se avevamo un piatto preferito che volevamo mangiare…che dire top!!!!

I cuscini erano un po’ mosci e anche il materasso. Ma la pulizia top!!!

Unscheinbar aber Essen hat überzeugt

Sehr flexibel auf kurzfristige Anfragen. Super Frühstück und Abendessen. Personal sehr nett. Eine perfekte Unterkunft als Alternative zu einer Hütte, wenn man in der Nähe wandern ist.

Abends etwas laut im Zimmer an der Hauptstraße. Aber zur Schlafenszeit kaum Verkehr, weswegen es nicht zu sehr ins Gewicht fällt.

Essen war außergewöhnlich alles gut und selbstgemacht mit Zutaten aus dem eigenen Garten. Auch Frühstück war sehr gut. Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Check-in sehr einfach und unkompliziert

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Durchfahrtsstraße, aber das ist auch der einzige größere Nachteil, dafür gut zu erreichen und die Bushaltestelle ist direkt vor der Tür.

- Saubere Zimmer - Bequemes Bett - Gutes Essen - Service Familiär - Ruhig gelegen an der Hauptstraße die allerdings in eine Sackgasse Endet, daher abends kaum Verkehr

Lokatie ivm de bus voor de deur. Schoon, vriendelijk personeel, ruim, gemoedelijk.

Niks sliep er 1 nacht maar had er ook zo een paar nachten kunnen verblijven, goed ontbijt en lekker (optioneel) avond eten.
