About this house rental
Castelvecchio Valleriana di Michelle is located in the medieval village of Castelvecchio, on the hills of Pescia (Pistoia) from which you can enjoy a splendid view of the valley (also called Svizzera Pesciatina).
The location is strategically located for visits to the most interesting areas of Tuscany.
The house, whose construction dates back to 1514 was completely renovated in 2017, can accommodate a maximum of 12 guests in 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 2 kitchens distributed in two apartments (garden floor, high floor). Each apartment has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 kitchen.
For each apartment there are two bedrooms with double bed and one bedroom with 2 twin beds.
The double beds are divisible on request at the time of booking.
The two apartments, Sanguigna (high floor) and Grisaglia (garden level) can also be booked separately
The private swimming pool (8mt x 3mt x 1. 20mt deep) is available to both apartments.
The swimming pool can be heated by solar panels and is treated with electrolysis salt.
From the vast lawn that allows relaxation of all guests you have direct access to the countryside. The property is completely fenced allowing excellent privacy.
The house faces south on one side and north on the other so there is always a cool side to rest.
You can park 40 meters from the house but you can also make a short stop in front of the entrance to load or unload luggage.
The whole house is equipped with Wi-Fi for the internet and 2 satellite televisions.
An excellent restaurant is located just 200 meters away (Pub La Pieve) and two other restaurants at 1500 meters. All these places offer typical Tuscan dishes and enjoy an excellent reputation.
The owners speak English, French, Spanish, Italian.
The city of Pescia is 11 km away and offers numerous supermarkets and numerous shops and services.
The cities of art and the beaches at the sea can be reached in a short time for the following distances:
Florence 70 km (or 55 minutes by train from Pescia station to S. Maria Novella)
Lucca 30 km (or 18 minutes by train from Pescia)
Pisa 65 km (or 60 minutes by train from Pescia)
Pistoia 35 km (or 32 minutes by train from Pescia)
