About this villa rental

Villa Centoni is located 1 km from the historic center of Montecarlo (Medieval Village), surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. Immersed in the suggestive Tuscan countryside.

Its terrace offers a breathtaking view, dominating much of the Lucca plain.

The villa has a salt water swimming pool, independent and well-furnished garden (sunbeds, chairs, gazebo, tables), private parking, night lighting, barbecue, ping-pong table.

The villa is furnished with authentic 19th century furniture.

Its interior, TV room with fireplace, dining room, large and well-equipped kitchen, 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, for a total of 280 square meters.

Our characteristics: Family management, typical Tuscan furnishings, possibility of hosting pets, free internet connection, home suitable for family groups.

On request we can offer numerous extra services
Catering, Private Chef, Cooking Classes, bicycle rental, wine tasting, oil tasting.

For any type of request ask the owner for information.

The owner of the villa (Lido) has a great passion for organic extra virgin olive oil, he produces a fantastic extra virgin olive oil, cold pressed, to enhance all its aromas and scents.

A few meters from the villa you can admire Lido's olive trees that he takes care of with the utmost passion. Upon your arrival at the villa, Lido will be happy to give you a bottle of oil produced by him with so much love.

The villa is managed by Lido and his son Massimo.

For the Centoni family it is always a great pleasure to meet new families who appreciate the Tuscan territory and its cultures.

To ensure a consistently clean pool and excellent water, Massimo cleans and checks it periodically. A schedule is agreed upon with guests so as not to disturb their stay.

The swimming pool is open the first days of May and closes on October 15th.

We had a wonderful one-week stay here. The house is large and was perfect for our group of 10 adults and two babies. There are bedrooms and bathrooms with showers (and one bathtub on first floor) on both the upper and first floors, which was very convenient. Easy to walk up to Montecarlo (this beautiful tiny town on the hill of Montecarlo) with stunning views over the hills and cute restaurants with delicious food and wine. You’ll also live close to wine yards less than 2 km from the house.It’s good to know that essentials like toilet paper, dish soap, and hand soap were not provided at arrival, so we recommend bringing or buying these. Beds were comfortable and they provide sheets and towels for you. Massimo (Lido’s son) manages the villa and was always nearby if we needed anything. Communication worked well with the help of Google Translate. Thanks to him, we were able to surprise our parents with a wine tasting and a guided tour of the olive grove with Francesca (American). Afterwards, we enjoyed a fantastic 5-course dinner prepared by chef Silvia for the whole family in the backyard by the pool – such a memorable experience!We also had space for three rental cars in the parking area which is good to know if you’re a large family coming. Overall we are very pleased with this stay and we would recommend it to anyone who would enjoy the Tuscany area and local wines!

Very nice villa located 10 min of walking distance from Montecarlo which is a charming village. There is a very nice view from the balcony. The garden is quite small but there is a nice swimmingpool. The house had everything we needed. The owner was very helpful.

Plenty of space for 6 adults. Nice pool. Comfortable beds. Good communication with Massimo throughout. Mid-30's temperature meant the villa was hot with no way to cool it down, despite leaving windows and shutters closed. An uphill walk into picturesque Montecarlo took 15 minutes to reach the restaurants.

This was our second time staying at the property. Lido and Massimo are fantastic hosts, so kind, helpful and quick to sort any issues. Montecarlo is a beautiful place and the house is an excellent base to explore more of the area. Would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely week at the villa. Both Massimo and Lido were great to deal with and really accommodating to our needs. The salt water pool is small but perfect for keeping cool, and Massimo and Lido take really great care of it. Massimo even helped us cook on the BBQ one evening, which was very kind and greatly appreciated. We had 4 cars between our group and the all fitted into the private driveway. The town is just a 5 minute walk uphill - it is steep but very manageable and worth it for lovely restaurants and stunning views.

Gorgeous villa in an amazing part of Italy. Warm, welcoming hosts. Great communication from start to finish. No air con, but not needed with shutters keeping house cool. Refreshing pool. Ping pong table kept the teenagers and young at heart happy for many hours. Beautiful spot near the charming medieval village of Montecarlo. Restaurants, gelatos, bars. Only a 10 min walk (though uphill - older guests may struggle). Close to the relaxing city of Lucca - 20 mins in a car, also Florence (hourish), and Siena (1hr 20). Thoroughly enjoyable holiday. We had a great stay the villa centoni! The host was very welcoming and friendly. We used the villa as the base camp, and went to other places on day trips, such as Lucca, Pisa, Pinocchio Land, Firenze. It was also nice to just hang out by the pool in the warm weather and walk up to the nearby city of Montecarlo to have some gelato! The host helped us arrange for a chef to come to the villa and cook for us a typical tuscan dinner, which was very nice.

My family had a wonderful week at the Villa Centoni in Montecarlo. The villa was everything we wanted: clean, spacious, beautiful views, large rooms, a nice swimming pool, nicely appointed kitchen, and plumbing that worked. It was very private, but close to the small town of Montecarlo. We were seeking a rental that was not in some tourism hot spot, and I don't think we saw any during our trip. Montecarlo was a 10 minute walk away and had great restaurants at very reasonable prices. The wine was excellent and very inexpensive. We were close enough to Pisa and Florence for anyone who wanted the tourist experience. Lastly, our hosts were very welcoming, kind, and not intrusive in any way. They responded immediately to our questions about anything. Like the rest of the people in this area, kindness and friendliness oozed out of their every pore. It was all around probably our best vacation and we would not hesitate to recommend it very highly.

This really was a wonderful holiday. The villa is spacious and spotless. Lido and Massimo were incredibly helpful, but gave us just the right amount of privacy. The location at the edge of Monte Carlo was perfect. We were in there every day, for morning coffee, a leisurely lunch or dinner in one of the numerous restaurants. We were travelling as three couples within a family and everyove loved it.

Villa Centoni is a large and prefectly located villa with impressive views and the owners are on hand if you require any help or advice. During our stay we visited Lucca, Pisa, Firenze and Viareggio which are all relatively easy to reach. We especially loved the beautiful village of Montecarlo which is only a short walk away with some lovely restaurants just remember to book as they can be busy.Overall a great holiday.

A very convenient location, just outside the small historic town of Montecarlo which has a good choice of restaurants, vibrance etc. Located between Lucca & Florence, handy to Pisa & about 75-90 minutes drive Cinque terre, Our family enjoyed the pool. The hosts were very helpful. We highly recommend

Kunne godt renses mere end den ene gang på en uge. Beliggenhed indenfor gåafstand til hyggelige Montecarlo, med flere caféer og restauranter.

Es waren wirklich traumhafte Tage in einem perfekten Haus in wunderbarer Umgebung! Danke an Familie Centoni! Wir waren mit unsere großen Familie (drei Generationen) eine Woche in der schönen Villa Centoni. Das Haus hat eine traumhafte Lage (sehr ruhig), ist liebevoll eingerichtet und ist sehr geräumig. Die Küche ist super, es gibt genug Geschirr, große Töpfe für viele Leute - und einen wirklich großen Kühlschrank! Im Inserat haben uns Fotos aller Zimmer gefehlt und man denkt der gesamte Garten gehört dazu. Der Besitzer wohnt unten, aber Herr Centoni (auch der liebe Herr Centoni Senior!) sind absolut freundlich und zuvorkommend - alles bestens! Wir waren Tennis spielen, waren am Meer, sind gewandert und haben gerne in Montecarlo (5 Min. zu Fuß) einen Aperitif getrunken! Auch ein Besuch der vielen Weinhändler in der Umgebung lohnt sich! Alles in allem - wunderschön!

Superbe découverte de la Toscane

Superbe découverte de la Toscane

Nous étions 3 familles soit 6 adultes et 6 enfants (10 à 14 ans). La villa est parfaitement équipée pour cette taille de groupe. La vie à l'intérieur se passe sans souci (grande cuisine, nombre de toilettes et salles de bains). Bon contact avec Lido et Massimo, merci pour l'huie d'olive, délicieuse. L'espace extérieur est parfait pour manger, se reposer et se baigner dans la piscine (parfaitement entretenue) mais (et ce sera la seule critique) le jardin n'est au final pas très grand. Cependant, les alentours sont propices aux balladex à pied et le village de Montecarlo est superbe avec une forteresse à visiter, de nombreux restaurants et quelques commerces (tout cela à pieds de la villa). Un supermarhé très complet à 10 min de voiture. C'est un endroit très bien situé pour se promener en Toscane. Sur la semaine, nous avons donc pu aller à Pise, Florence, Lucques, San Gimignano et Volterra. A noter pour les golfeurs, à quelques kilomètres se trouvent le golf de Montecatini qui est très beau et très bien entretenu. Enfin, quelques belles découvertes viticoles sur la commune même de Montecarlo. Bref, nous avons passé un super séjour.

Perfekter Urlaub für 8 Personen in einer toskanischen Villa. Ausreichend Platz für alle, Küche und Speiseraum sind sehr gut ausgestattet und groß. Essplätze draußen und im Haus vorhanden. Es fehlt an Nichts. Der Pool ist sauber und gepflegt. Montecarlo, ein sehr schöner und typisch toskanischer Ort, ist zu Fuß leicht erreichbar. Gern würden wir wiederkommen!

Villa Centoni was a wonderful way for our group of nine friends and family to spend three weeks exploring Tuscany. The villa itself is large and spacious with five well-equipped bedrooms, three and a half baths, dining room seating for at least 18 as well as a lovely patio with additional dining table. There is a wrap-around veranda, with beautiful views. The owner, Massimo, was very helpful, recommending restaurants, and activities, which always turned out to be terrific. A bonus is that the villa is a short walk away from a beautiful little medieval walled town, with great restaurants within and outside the walls. It’s also an easy distance from so many gorgeous Tuscan towns - Florence, Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano etc. Just 15 minutes away is Montecatini Terme, a beautiful spa city with a lovely old town on a mountain, which you reach by a ride on a 120 year old funicular. And, don’t leave out a visit to the Garfagnana just north of the villa. Whether you want to relax and enjoy the local life and delicious food, or tour Tuscany, this is the place to be.

Abbiamo soggiornato in 12, in questa villa contornata da ulivi, in un ambiente confortevole e rilassante. La villa offre un giardino appartato e una piscina, peccato che il tempo non ci abbia permesso l'utilizzo. In compenso abbiamo fatto belle passeggiate ed escursioni nella zona. Massimo e Lido i padroni di casa, oltre ad essere molto ospitali, ci hanno dato le giuste indicazioni per sfruttare al meglio il nostro week end. Gradito è stato il regalo di benvenuto, un bel cesto di prodotti locali frutto della loro terra. Avremo occasione di tornare! Grazie ancora. Fabiana

We are a group of fans of vintage car, we decided to make our cars with a tour of Tuscany, and we have identified as the basis Villa Centoni, whereas it is in the center of Tuscany. The owner and his son were very helpful in advising us wonderful destinations. In the evening, the pool, with the catering service we enjoyed local dishes, with wine tasting and olive oil. The villa is very large and well maintained. The pool was essential for our stay. The small village of Montecarlo is very nice. From the villa you can admire a fantastic panorama. The guaranteed relax at the villa and the villa is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, total relaxation. A proper Thank Lido and Massimo, the villa managers that have always been available to us.

Les gérants étaient très serviable et gentil. La villa est très belle, une très belle terrasse sur le toit. Les chambres sont grandes. Nous avons remarqué un grand nettoyage et nous a fait très plaisir. Il est recommandé de visiter le centre de Montecarlo, est très agréable. Le centre du village se trouve à 700 mètres de la villa. Le propriétaire et son fils sont serviables et gentils. La piscine est très jolie. La villa est située dans le coeur de la Toscane, à seulement 10 minutes de route de Lucques. 5 étoiles très très bon, à bientôt

Villa superbe avec vue magnifique sur les collines, vignobles et oliviers. Notre groupe de 13 a eu suffisamment d'espace pour dormir et la piscine a bien servi pour nous reposer des excursions enToscane. Il faut savoir qu'il y a un coq tout près qui se réveille très, très tôt! Ceci nous a bien fait sourire! Les lits et sofas sont un peu âges, mais tout le reste compense! Le village de Montecarlo à distance d'une petite marche est vraiment plaisant, à ne pas manquer.

"nous avons passé une semaine extraordinaire en famille, dans cette maison de caractère tout près de ce charmant petit village MONTECARLO ( à découvrir absolument ) .Après les visites classiques au cœur des villes , quel bonheur de se retrouver le soir au bord de la piscine , au calme .... maison confortable et spacieuse , super équipée , des propriétaires à proximité toujours présents pour pallier au moindre petit problème ..vraiment à conseiller sans réserve !"
