About this house rental
PRIVATE POOL! The Laughing Fish is a completely refurbished beach house inside and out! This property has been renovated and professionally decorated. It offers a unique decor with comfortable furniture, charming antiques and original Pensacola art. The beautiful ceilings and woodwork are local cypress.
Enjoy gorgeous views of the Santa Rosa Sound. It looks like the Caribbean! This home was previously two separate units to accommodate two families. The owner of this gorgeous home has combined the two units and created the perfect five-bedroom, seven-bath home for large families!
On the east side of the home there are three bedrooms and 3.5 baths and sleeps 13.
All 3 bedrooms provide beautiful water views and all bedrooms have their own bath and balcony. One of the master bedrooms has a king bed. This bedroom opens to a huge 625 square foot deck which offers panoramic views of the Sound and the island.
The second master bedroom has two queens and a private deck overlooking the water.
The third bedroom is a bunk room that offers a twin over twin bunk and futon with private bath. This bedroom also has a picture windows overlooking the water.
All of the beds and the sofa sleeper (@ den) are new and have new gel foam (very comfortable) mattresses. You WILL want to come back!
The open floor plan @ the den/ kitchen has a wall of sliding glass doors that open to decks overlooking the Sound. The gourmet kitchen is very well equipped with a 48" Thermador professional stove and a new, large microwave drawer. Everything you need is there!
On the west side of the home there are two bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Sleeps eight comfortably.
There is a king bed in the master, a king bed + futon in the second master and a new (very comfortable) sleeper in the den. All the beds and mattresses are new and have super comfortable gel foam mattresses. Both of the bedrooms have private baths, tubs and balconies with wonderful views.
The open floor plan @ the den/ kitchen + balcony presents a very gracious space for entertaining. The large kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need.
The home offers two full laundries and all of the bedrooms in the house have TV's.
The roof top deck is HUGE (625 square feet) and is easily accessible from any floor. It is safely fenced and furnished with beautiful Polywood Adirondack chairs and chaise lounges. The views are panoramic and you can see the whole island from this deck.
It's an AWESOME spot to hang out, drink coffee or your favorite drink!
Because of the way this house is positioned, we get the sunrises AND sunsets!

Balconies and walkways abound. EVERY room has a balcony!
The pier is spacious, with steps leading to the shallow water. The Sound is normally very calm, so kayaking, paddle boarding, (just floating), etc are very popular. Because of the shallow water, it is a wonderful and safe place for children to play.
And FISHING. The water is so clear that you can see the fish!
The Laughing Fish has a sandy beach leading to the pier, complete with Polywood Adirondack beach furniture. There is also a gas grill and picnic table.
There is also a boat slip, so bring your boat (or rent one)!
The views are just amazing. And you will also enjoy seeing the sailboats and water activities. The property is fenced.
The walk to the Gulf is only five minutes. The Laughing Fish is a five-bedroom / seven-bath house with two kitchens and two laundries. It's PERFECT for multiple families!

Loved the place. Couple things. No games. No spices for cooking. People usually leave things not here. Futons are for small children not 2 teenagers. Place was great beach cloae by was very clean and not many people.

We had a great time at this house. It was very comfortable with our group of seven people. The views are great and it is a short walk to the beach. Quite neighborhood and plenty of room to walk around in and out. As others have mentioned, the house can use some upgrades. Dishwasher needed to run twice to clean and if you use the sleeper sofa’s, make sure you have a good chiropractor, but that’s to be expected with any sleeper sofa, they are never comfortable. Paradise beach homes was a breeze to work with and were very attentive to our questions and a couple minor issues. We would definitely use Paradise again, but another property for the next visit. In 7 days, I logged 148 flights of stairs on my watch, good for cardio, but if you have older people with you, make sure you are aware of the stairs.

The vacation rental was clean.

The house was fine - I don’t see how 23 people could fit - we had 18 and had to use blowups. But there was room and the living area was great. The ladder to the water is dangerous so we did struggle to enter and exit the sound. The pool was great to have. The woman in the office was not helpful when we left. We left behind an important necklace on the railing by the pool and she refused to go check and see if it was still there. I called to ask her at 3:20, well before checkin at 5:00, and she said guests were already there. (Earlier that week when I checked in she would not give me the codes 26 minutes early!) so my granddaughters necklace is gone. But we enjoyed the week.
