The location was very pleasant, the host was super friendly, the views from the window were beautiful and everything worked great. The apartment in on the 4th floor with an elevator going to the third. The bed was comfortable, the air condition efficient, the Internet was fast and the water pressure in the shower was good. The apartment is quite spacious, too.
Everything was good. One thing people might want to know in advance is that there are some steps inside the apartment, the rooms being one step higher than the entrance hall. Not really a problem though.

The view is really good, you can directly see the canal. The apartment itself is also cute and very clean. The room is on the 4th floor, while the elevator only goes to the 3rd, the host will help you carry the luggage so it is not an issue. The absolute highlight is the host, he is very friendly and will share Venice history with you. Lovely stay!

A real apartment with a beautiful view over the canals of venice
Well equipped kitchen - we found restaurants to be not great value at all, whilst the supermarkets weren't bad - a high quality pasta, a rotisserie chicken and a fresh pesto with a bottle of local wine is my recommendation ;-)
Fast new wifi router.
Friendly owner, who will happily tell you lots of local stories.
Washing machine is still out of action at the moment.
I personally think it'd be great to have a sofa or sofabed in the second bedroom, so that guests can have a comfortable place to sit.
Anyway, I'd still really recommend it.
