Nicely decorated and adequately equipped for a couple. Convenient for RSPB Bempton Cliffs and Flamborough Head.

Despite address being Main Street, we had to phone the owner to get directions. The 'cottage' is to the rear of the pub (nice quiet pub with good food) and is accessed from Cliff Road - had this been clearer, we would not have wasted time looking for it or phoning for directions. We had difficulty adjusting the shower temperature and at times the WC was extremely slow to refill despite good water pressure. The TV in the bedroom didn't work properly - very poor signal and couldn't receive BBC1. These problems were relayed to the owner after we had left, but no response.

The apartment would have being ok if it was clean

Dirty hot loads more photos cobwebs in lights that had not being cleaned for months, bathroom shower edges outside disgusting, pad or something dirty under bed. Settee and bed not cleaned under was totally disgusting. To clean the whole apartment would have taken me at the most half a day and I could have made it spotless. Totally unacceptable the state it was in. I’ve been in lots of apartment and holidays lets and this was the worse for cleanliness I have ever had. Fire blanket and fire extinguisher needs checking for dates too. Fire extinguisher looked to be dated 2007 ???? Definitely need a replacement. Should be changed every five years at least. God four in bed program would have gone to town on this place.
