A really lovely stay. Quiet, close to the coast. We would return

Good value for money need car to get to nearby attractions.

Absolutely fantastic stay at the lodge.... we wanted a chill and thats exactly what we did .... it was clean and decorated beautiful.... cant wait to go back... we loved every minute .... especially the hot tub

We booked a last minute 2 night break in a luxury boutique hot tub lodge. The lodge was far from luxury and parts of it were tired and shabby especially the decking. We couldn’t use the hot tub on our first night as the temperature wasn’t warm enough, so we only had one nights use of it. This was very disappointing, as the hot tub was the reason why we booked it and paid a premium price. When I queried this with the owner he said in colder months it can take longer to warm up but it was the middle of July and we were in a heatwave. Some of the cleaning was of a poor standard. Also the bed and bedding was uninviting, poor quality bed linen and was creased and shabbily made up. On arrival it looked like it hadn’t been changed. Some positive things was it was in a quite rural location and it was adequately equipped with kitchen utensils. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again.
