Boutique lodge with hot tub sleeps 6

The lodge was lovely home from home the owner has spent a lot of time doing the interior. Hot tub was great too. Nice comfortable beds everything you needed. 2 bathrooms great

Comfortable. Clean. Well equipped. Good location next to Sewerby Hall. Beautiful surroundings.

Directions to the property were a bit confusing.

The lodge had all your home home comforts, we was even left chocolate and a bottle of wine and milk for when we 1st got there, very comfortable beds and beautiful decorated It was in a lovely quiet spot too with bbq and hot tub, we loved every minute

Fridge didn’t work properly

The location is really nice and good for walks into Bridlington, the hot tub was a relaxing addition however we stayed 5 nights and it wasn’t checked while we were there, the lodge smelt lovely due to the amount of air fresheners and reed diffusers. The kitchen area is amazing and the larder cupboard is great to keep everything out of the way. Complimentary shower gels a nice touch.

Too much clutter, had to move the ladder holding throws into the other bedroom while we were there as couldn’t make use of the dressing table area properly. The bathrobes hung on the bathroom doors are a nice idea but they didn’t smell freshly washed and due to the thickness of them meant they were in the way so again left them on the spare beds whilst we were there. The lodge is described as luxury boutique and whilst the candles and diffusers go some way I would have expected better hangers in the wardrobe than the many wire ones. There was a pair of men’s worn slippers left in the bedroom. The lodge wasn’t dirty by any means but it is in need of some attention in the bathrooms with sealant repairs and a toilet seat that fits properly the shower screen seal in the en-suite is full of green build up. It could do with a deep clean to restore it. The chairs and sofa as mentioned in other reviews are not comfy and aren’t great to relax as a couple to watch TV.
