All was great, the host was very friendly, house clean and comfortable. Pretty view into the valley.

This house is in an awesome elevated location, looking out over the local village and the valley with the main town far below. It feels quite isolated, but the village is only 3 or 4 minutes drive away and has a small grocery store. The cooking facilities were OK, there was aircon upstairs which was much appreciated for our brief visit. The terrace is a lovely place to spend the evening watching the sun set over the hills. The owner met us in person, showed us around and gave us a glass of his wine - a sales pitch to try to sell us a bottle, but although it was very good, we were not able to fit a bottle on the motorcycle and as one of us cannot drink wine we did not take us this offer!

Pay heed to other reviewers' warnings about the approach roads and driveway - as an experienced rider on a 1200cc motorcycle I thought nothing of it, until the bike struggled to get more than 5 metres up the drive whilst two up and fully loaded with luggage, In the end my son had to walk up while I slipped the clutch the whole way up to get enough revs to power it up. Do not underestimate what a challenge this extreme slope is!
