Cherry Trees

The house was absolutely amazing! We had the best start to our Christmas festivities. When we arrived, there were Christmas decorations in the house that we hadn't expected and the aga was on warming the house. The house is fantastic and allows people to be together, yet it has the space to have quiet time if needed. The hot tub is placed to allow for the most stunning views. Some of us even managed a cheeky game of tennis. The rooms were beautiful with carefully chosen decor, which made you feel like you were in a home from home.

The only thing I would say is that the pipes can be quite noisy, but it's an old house. We soon worked out that we didn't need the heating on in the evenings so the noises were no longer a problem.

Location is outstanding and views are unbeatable. Loved the property decor and facilities. Kitchen was well equipped. Would definitely reserve again and already recommended to friends and families. Close to all important tourist areas and highstreet shops.

Some toiletries could be handy to have like handwashes in the bathrooms plus shampoos/conditioners/ body wash

The house is situated in a wonderful position with easy access to Bowness on Windermere and the southern lakes.

It was all wonderful.

This property is stunning, it has beautiful decor, beautiful views, the bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. Kitchen is great for cooking for 10. It is approx 15 minutes walk from bowness so great location or 5 in the car. No complaints at all.

أقمت مع عائلتي في فيلا Cherry Trees لمدة 4 ليالٍ في يونيو، وكانت تجربة ممتازة من جميع النواحي. الفيلا تقع في موقع هادئ قريب من وسط المدينة (5 دقائق بالسيارة)، لكنها غير مناسبة للمشي بسبب عدم وجود أرصفة، لذا يُنصح باستخدام التاكسي، خصوصًا يوم الوصول والمغادرة. الفيلا تطل على الغابة وتتميز بخصوصية تامة، وداخلها كل ما قد يحتاجه الضيف: خمس غرف نوم واسعة، أربع حمامات، صالة فسيحة، مطبخ مجهز، مدفأتان تعملان بكفاءة، جاكوزي خارجي، وجلسات خارجية رائعة. النوافذ الكبيرة والغرفة الزجاجية منحت المكان إحساسًا مميزًا بالإشراق والانفتاح. النظافة كانت ممتازة، أدوات المطبخ متوفرة ونظيفة، وكل الأجهزة تعمل بشكل جيد. الإقامة كانت مريحة جدًا والنوم هادئ تمامًا، وأعتبر هذا المكان مثاليًا للعائلات الكبيرة أو أكثر من عائلة. المضيفة كانت متجاوبة عبر الرسائل، وتسجيل الدخول والخروج كان سلسًا. ⸻ ✅ أبرز الإيجابيات: • الجلسات الخارجية • المدفأتان (fireplace) • النوافذ الكبيرة والغرفة الزجاجية • الغرف الواسعة وسعة المكان • الهدوء والخصوصية ⸻ ✅ التوصية: أنصح بهذه الفيلا بشدة للعائلات الكبيرة، ومحبي الطبيعة والهدوء، ولمن يملك وسيلة نقل خاصة. تجربة راقية، وأتطلع لتكرارها مستقبلاً. We stayed at Cherry Trees for 4 nights in June as a family of 8, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The villa is located in a peaceful area just 5 minutes by car from the town center, but walking is not recommended due to the lack of sidewalks — booking a taxi in advance is essential, especially for arrival and departure. The villa overlooks the forest and offers full privacy. It includes five spacious bedrooms, four bathrooms, a large and cozy living area, a fully equipped kitchen, two functional fireplaces, an outdoor jacuzzi, and lovely outdoor seating areas. The large windows and the glass conservatory added a beautiful sense of light and openness to the place. Cleanliness was excellent, all kitchen appliances worked well, and the stay was peaceful and very comfortable. The host was responsive via messages, and both check-in and check-out were smooth.

❌ أبرز السلبيات: • تم حجز مبلغ 500 باوند كوديعة تأمين، ولم يتم فك الحجز إلا بعد 30 يومًا، رغم أن موقع بوكينق يشير إلى أن المدة القصوى هي 7 أيام.  عند التواصل مع المضيف، أفاد بأن الحجز لا يتجاوز أسبوعًا، لكن البنك أكد أن جهة الإقامة نفسها هي من حجبت المبلغ لمدة شهر كامل.  تجربة مالية مزعجة وغير مبررة، وتستدعي توضيحًا أدق في صفحة الحجز. • ضعف الإضاءة الخارجية أو احتراقها، مما أفسد متعة الجلوس ليلًا • نقص واضح في مستلزمات الحمام • عدم وجود باقة ترحيبية في المطبخ • شبكة Wi-Fi ضعيفة جدًا في الطابق الأرضي • عدم توفير شباشب (slippers) كما هو معتاد في فيلل بهذه الفئة ❌ What could be improved: • A £500 security deposit was held and not released until 30 days later, even though Booking.com states the maximum hold is 7 days.  The host claimed they only held it for one week, but my bank confirmed that the full 30-day hold came from the property itself.  This was a frustrating and unjustified financial experience that deserves clearer communication on the booking page. • Poor or non-functional outdoor lighting, limiting evening enjoyment • Significant shortage of bathroom supplies • No welcome package in the kitchen • Weak Wi-Fi on the ground floor • No slippers provided, which are usually standard in villas of this category
