Uncomfortable stay especially in summer

Easy to find, managed to get a parking space in the private parking area. Greeted by a friendly man when we entered the property a few hours after check-in opened. On our walk we saw some pretty sights and it was nice to be so close to corn fields.

No desk check-in process. Keys were handed over without any ID verification which was a red flag. The key chain had 2 keys: 1 for the room and the other seemingly for the Main Street door. Unfortunately, the second key and its purpose for added security were redundant as the door was regularly open and unlocked on street level, allowing anyone to wonder in. The room was small, cramped for 2 people with 1 bag each. We had a double bed, which had 2 bedside tables and a desk unit which seemed IKEA-esque in nature, clashing with the older style chairs and the vibe of paintings in the hotel. There was no mirror in the bedroom, only in the bathroom. I reserved a double room with a courtyard view and was disappointed to see that our view was actually that of the private car park. While standing in the bedroom I could feel the floor vibrate a bit and heard a lot of noise and realised we were over the hotel kitchen which ruined the room for us a bit. There was no minibar which was also a shame because it’s very hot and a cold drink would have been great in the room. There was a glass water bottle with 2 glasses on the desk, but it was not clear whether this was complimentary or not, so we didn’t use it. The majority of information in the room booklet was only in German, which while understandable, meant that guests of other languages would lose out on information. There was no mini safe for valuables which I had thought could at least mitigate the key security issue. The bathroom is very small, and I noticed that one of the shower taps was missing part of its fixture. When using the sink taps it became clear that the Hot and Cold labels were the wrong way around. When leaving the room shortly after checking in, we saw that the large door hinge was busted. Also, make sure you lock your door when you leave, as your room does not lock behind you. This also means you have to lock yourself into your room at night, unless you’re happy to have an unexpected visitor.

We always had a feeling that everyone genuinely wanted us to be pleased with staying, dining or having breakfast. And we were genuinely pleased. The room was cosy and comfortable, the dinner was incredibly delicious and served with skill and taste, the breakfast was tasty and, again, heartfully served. We stayed only one night with my wife after not a very lucky day at the Vita Classica Therme but this night saved the whole trip. Thank you very much guys and good luck for your business!

Everything was so cool and clean, so comfy for the night we stayed. The views were such cooler as well.

there's nothing wrong we can say about the property, maybe its location as it was 20min far from the inner city, but this is compensated with the gorgeous landscape of the mountains

The house is renovated but very old, so the walls are thin and it is a bit noisy at night, also because of the street in front of the house.

Ein insgesamt sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt mit hervorragender Küche und freundlichem Service, bei dem es lediglich kleine

Das überaus freundliche Personal sowie das wirklich hervorragende Essen haben uns besonders begeistert. Man merkt, dass hier mit Qualität und Herz gearbeitet wird.

Die Matratze war für uns persönlich etwas zu weich, was bei mir leider zu stärkeren Rückenschmerzen geführt hat. Zudem war es im Zimmer recht hellhörig, sodass wir unsere Nachbarn bis spät in die Nacht deutlich hören konnten. Uns ist bewusst, dass Letzteres nicht zwingend im Einflussbereich der Betreiber liegt. Vielleicht wäre (sofern es die Auslastung zulässt), bei empfindlicheren Gästen eine alternative Zimmeroption hilfreich. Wir wollten nachts jedoch keine zusätzliche Unruhe verursachen und haben daher nichts gemeldet.

Der traditionsreiche Gasthof ist schön renoviert und modern ausgestattet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Auch mit dem Frühstück waren wir sehr zufrieden. Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Das Zimmer war geräumig, ruhig und gemütlich. Kostenlose Parkplätze stehen am Haus zur Verfügung. Der Checkin war recht unkompliziert und das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war im Zimmerpreis enthalten und völlig ausreichend.

Am Schlüsselkasten beim Checkin wäre ein Hinweis, wo sich der Eingang zum Hotel befindet, hilfreich. Der Kasten hängt neben einer Tür, die nicht zum Hotelbereich gehört.

Schönes Zimmer, tolles Frühstück, freundliche Gastgeber. Bushaltestelle vor der Tür, Lage etwas am Rand von Bad Krozingen, aber gut als Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Stadt und der Umgebung. Sehr schöner Aufenthalt, vielen Dank und bis zum nächsten Mal!

Gute Unterkunft und Verpflegung zu fairen Konditionen

Wenngleich das Frühstück nicht in Buffetform dargereicht wurde, war es dennoch sehr ausgewogen und mehr auskömmlich. Das Abendessen war sehr lecker und es waren üppige Portionen. Wer sein Essen nicht ganz schafft, kann sich die Reste einpacken lassen. Preis/Leistung schwer in Ordnung.
