Location. Clean. Quiet. Comfortable.
The bed that was made into the double had a really squeaky base that made a sound every time you moved. This wasn’t a problem as we just moved into the other bedroom, but it would have been if that wasn’t an option. It just needs a repair or replacement, probably not brought to anyone’s attention previously. Otherwise there was nothing we didn’t like.

Location is excellent.
Heating is fantastic and there is an abundance of hot water.
The property has all of the dishes and amenities etc you need for a long stay.
When it rained, the rainwater ran down the inside of the main door. This caused the door to swell which made it difficult to close and lock.
The outside lights didn’t work which is incredibly dangerous in a dark Scottish winter.
The beds need replacing as both the mattresses and bases are worn.
There is an overwhelming smell of damp in the second bathroom.
The towels were like sandpaper - felt like a microdermabrasion everyday.
We spoke to the owner about the rain, the damp smell and the lights and he didn’t seem to be too concerned.
I’m still waiting for the lettings agent to get back to me as well.
