Great location but property tired and needs updating

Location is excellent. Heating is fantastic and there is an abundance of hot water. The property has all of the dishes and amenities etc you need for a long stay.

When it rained, the rainwater ran down the inside of the main door. This caused the door to swell which made it difficult to close and lock. The outside lights didn’t work which is incredibly dangerous in a dark Scottish winter. The beds need replacing as both the mattresses and bases are worn. There is an overwhelming smell of damp in the second bathroom. The towels were like sandpaper - felt like a microdermabrasion everyday. We spoke to the owner about the rain, the damp smell and the lights and he didn’t seem to be too concerned. I’m still waiting for the lettings agent to get back to me as well.

Great accommodations in a convenient location!

Great accommodations in a very convenient location. Walking distance to shops/stores in Stirling, plus the Park Church on the way very welcoming too! All in all, highly recommend!

We liked everything - Two small items to make things even better - the owner's manual we found for the oven seemed to be for a previous model (so that was a touch confusing but we were able to figure it out anyway). There are multiple copies of the check-out instructions, and not all are the same (some say use provided bags for the laundry and open the windows), some say put laundry in trash bags, some say put the laundry in the bath(tub)? Again, no big deal, but making sure those items are consistent and up to date would probably help others.

This is a great location but the flat is In need of some upgrading, the owner sent me three email re the Covid check out

Great Location, good size.

The flat was cold and the heating didn’t work, the flat is below ground level so was dark, the towels were hard and the lounge suite was very stained and dirty.

Lovely spacious apartment

It had big rooms and 2 bathrooms which was great for our family of 5. It was very clean and had private access. Everything you need for a comfortable stay.
