Fantastic villa.
Better quality of the cutlery.
Some of the outdoor lighting was out of order. Which was a pity, as everything else was perfect.

Petasos 1 ist die westliche Haushälfte. Tagsüber mit etwas mehr Sonne als die östliche Haushälfte Petasos 2. Die Pools sind nicht üppig aber zum plantschen groß genug. Die Tiefe von etwa 1,50m eignet sich zum Tauchen. Der Pool hat zudem eine knöcheltiefe etwa 6m x 2,50m große Terrasse im Wasser. Dort könnten sogar Kleinkinder unter Aufsicht plantschen. Wir lagen dort zum Sonnen im Wasser, wie auf einer Luftmatratze, nur bequemer. Jeden Morgen wurde der Pool vom Juniorchef Andreas [[email protected]] top gereinigt. Trotz der exponierten Lage des Hauses sind die Terrassen- und Liegebereiche geschützt und uneinsehbar. Die Architektur des Objekts ist durchdacht und im Detail genial. Beide Haushälften haben barrierefreie Zugänge zum Erdgeschoss. Allerdings können die Poolbereiche wegen der Topographie nicht ohne kurze Treppen erreicht werden. Alle Zimmer sind modern gestaltet und in mangelfreiem Zustand. Sicherheitsbeleuchtung weist den Rettungsweg; das gibt ein Gefühl von Sicherheit. Das separate Schlafzimmer mit großem Doppelbett im OG hat ein eigenes Bad mit Dusche und WC sowie einen eigenen Fernseher. Das Schlafzimmer mit großem Doppelbett im Erdgeschoss verfügt ebenfalls über ein TV, eigenes Bad mit Dusche und WC, Föhn, Waschmaschine. Im Erdgeschoss von Petasos 1 befindet sich eine Wohnküche mit ausreichend großem Wohn- und Essbereich; Petasos 2 hat dieses Zimmer im OG darüber. Auch in der Wohnküche befindet sich ein Fernseher. Die Küche bietet Kühlschrank, 3 Gefrierfächer, Herd, Backofen, Micro, Toaster, Sandwichmaker, Wasserkocher, Besteck, Geschirr, Töpfe ... eine komplette und moderne Kochausstattung. Wir bekamen kleine und große Handtücher, sowie Badetücher für die Sonnenliegen. WLAN (<10 Mbit) gab es gratis. Die herumstreunenden Katzen sind herzzerreißend, aber leider sehr hartnäckig, wenn man sie mitleidsvoll anfüttert ... und sie werden dann auch immer mehr und fordernder (kleine Gremlins). Die Aussicht aus allen Zimmern sowie den Terrassen auf das Meer und die Berge ist phänomenal. Bis zum gemischten (Textil und FKK) Strand von Souda sind es auf kürzestem Weg etwa 2,5km, allerdings sind dabei nahezu 300 Höhenmeter zu überwinden. Die Straße dorthin ist asphaltiert, wenngleich sehr holprig. Die Schotterwege sind nicht für herkömmliche PKW geeignet. Auch zu Fuß sind diese Wege schwerlich zu begehen, weil der Grobschotter sehr lose ist und unter den Schuhen leicht wegrollt. Der Ort hat einen Dorfladen. Zum Canyon sind es etwa 4km.
