The location and the affordability and it was a secure place
The freezer shelf was rusted and the pitcher of water leaked onto the shelf
6.0 / 10.0
Location was great. Ease of access to the building and room. Good communication from the customer support.
The sheets were dirty. We contacted the property and while they did it was not until the next day so first night there was dirty sheets. Looked to be soiled with body secretions. So gross. Also the bed was extremely hard. Sufficient for one night, rough to sleep on for two nights.

Noisy guests during quiet hours
Coffee maker didn't work
Access code to building didn't work and we were standing in the cold for 20 minutes while someone tried to fix the problem

Only that you couldn’t get local tv channels on the tv

Very accommodating.
Found a cheaper price for the room and so far they have not matched it even though I was told I would get a 20% discount off the lowest advertised price. So far I have not heard about any refund or credit.

Legit nothing.
There was only one chair I would even sit on, the place was filthy. I drove home in a snow storm rather than sleeping on the beds.

The location was perfect
The parking and the beds were so uncomfortable.

The location was good to walk to a hockey game (15 minutes) and football game (30 minutes)
Our apartment (3E) was very disappointing (not the one that was confirmed) - hairs on bed and floor, towel racks falling off the wall, just single beds and bunk beds that felt uncomfortable, no glasses in the the kitchen, sofas covered with blankets to hide the condition, window blind missing. The check was not smooth - did not receive the access code before check-in as advertised. During day two of our stay, could not enter the building as the access code changed. Waited 19 minutes in the cold on the street for the on call person to respond, however the staff person inside the building helped us out.

Staff was super helpful and kind, the apartment was clean, check-in was easy. Great location and a good price. The basics were all there.
There were quite a few things not working well in the kitchen: the coffee machine was not usable (missing part), the toaster was broken, there was no range hood fan that you were supposed to turn on while cooking. While these are all small things, the kitchen was a big attention grabber so not being able to use it well was a bit frustrating.

I liked how homey feeling it was plus very safe with having locked box key codes on all the doors to get in n out. At the time I also got a very decent price for my stay which always helps when traveling.
Well I really thought this place was truly trying to help the ppl n there community by having these apartments be affordable n honestly priced for what your getting (not to mention all there signs promoting helping others n being there for your needs around the building) but that is not the case for example one Tuesday night priced @ $55 changes to a $493 a night the following Tuesday! That’s insane for the same room same place why should anybody be asked to pay that It shouldn’t matter whats going on in the area either if this is the case your making out just fine keeping it @ affordable prices this is where greed comes in to play don’t let it get the best of you!

It’s affordable
In a rush to check out I dint have time to finish cleaning up. I left some tobacco on the floor and they charged me $85 fee plus say I owe $215 for smoking. I NEVER smoked in the room at any point. I routinely took smoke breaks outside! There is NO heater or thermostat. I would of understood if they charged me a cleaning fee.

Keyless entry to the Hotel and room. communication was quick through text messages.

Location is great, right downtown. A handful of corner markets and food options within walking distance.
The place is pretty run down. Kinda feels like some apartments with a super who refuses to fix anything. A lot of fixtures (towel racks, etc.) are just hanging loose out of the wall, their anchors ripped out of the sheetrock. Fabric on the living room chairs was all torn up. Beds feel like they were donated from army barracks. Kitchen appliances were kinda beat up and greasy.
Room was supposed to be ready at 3p, but when I showed up to the room the door was wide open, nobody around and the place obviously hadn't been cleaned. Cleaning staff eventually showed up, and while they were friendly and I'm sympathetic, they repeatedly told me about a "meeting" that caused the delays which isn't really my concern as a guest. Ultimately, since this isn't a "hotel" and therefore no front desk to leave my bag, I then sat there in the room for an hour and a half while the room was cleaned.
Luckily, I also tested the door code I received via the app while staff was still there because it didn't work. They had to give me a different one which I *suspect* was actually the code for the prior guest that was never changed (not exactly a secure feeling).
I understand location goes a long way towards the cost of a room and these new "airbnb hotels" aren't hotels in the traditional sense, but if you're going to charge $300/night all in, ya still have to sell a good product.

Great location, decent accommodations, including kitchen needs, and a low price to beat!
Because of the self-serve check-in/out to keep costs low, there is no "front desk", and they have to communicate all details via texting and Booking.com. The amount of such requests and reminders becomes annoying, with a re-confirmation after confirmation. I don't remember that level of notifications from any previous hotels, including budget-oriented. Also, they charge a refundable security fee (~$85) upfront, and you won't get access code to your room unless you agree. I didn't know about it at the time of booking. It was either buried somewhere in T&C, or relayed after you book. The rep texted to me that it was "clearly" stated to me).

The location was ok
It was not cleaned too well as there was hair on the shower walls. The furniture seemed old, especially the living room couches. The linens and pillows in the beds seemed old also.

I got locked out my room and building at 5am and couldn't get back in until 9am stuck in the cold then phone was about to die had to buy a charger to get it charged to talk to someone about the room I paid 2 nights for. If I was able to get a refund I wouldn't have finished my stay. Was truly ridiculous paying this much to be sitting outside for hours

Comfortable mattress. Room all to ourselves. Great location. Clean facilities.
The showers and bathrooms were cramped. The bathroom lights would switch off repeatedly even though you were in the shower.
7.0 / 10.0
It was the best price in the city for a short stay. It was accommodating for 6 adults, with enough beds and bathrooms.
Having a coffee pot would have been great and there was a slight leak in the refrigerator. The decor had some immodest pictures.

The price was great for downtown Pittsburgh. The location was less than a mile from PNC Park.
The place was beat. It has cracked/loose tile on the bathroom floor, the bathroom sink stopper handle was missing, the sitting furniture was cheap and not particularly comfortable. It basically felt like a college dorm/apartment.
The service was poor. Two emails asking about the parking were not answered; the electronic registration process was not working; phone calls were not answered by human beings. We had to email Booking com to get a response that allowed us to get the entrance code.

Even though the operator were not reachable over phone when I had access problems - my mistake, not theirs - but then answered quickly and good per message - which was even easier.
Large fridge with freezer 100% operational and clean: super for storing and keep cool water, drinks and ice-cream.
Only 3 single beds - and no double bed. For 1 or two nights ok - but would be appreciate to have a large bed. Beds are very basic but ok.

Good location. Good price. Space was good.
AC worked very good but unable to control. Too cold through out stay.
No water pressure in the shower stall. Hot water took a while.
Floor was dirty and sticky. Not very clean

Location
I've stayed here several times and I like it because it's close to downtown. This time, I rated it a little poorly because the suite had some issues. The air conditioning couldn't be regulated and the room was hot. The windows had sheer curtains that let in all the light, and I like to sleep in the dark. I think they should install blackouts. The curtain brackets were in poor condition, which detracted from the quality of the service. The shower curtain was broken.

I booked this place based on the good reviews, but my experience was completely different. The sheets smelled like urine, which was immediately concerning and made it clear that the space wasn't properly cleaned. There were car air fresheners stuffed in the vents, holes in the ceiling, and bubbling paint on the walls—none of which matched the impression given online.
I didn’t raise the issues with the host because the bed had already been made when I arrived, which suggested they believed everything was acceptable. It clearly wasn’t. I felt so uncomfortable. I ended up leaving after just a few hours, losing hundreds of dollars in the process, because I wasn’t willing to risk my health by staying there.
To make matters worse, I spoke with a resident in the elevator who told me there have been ongoing bedbug issues in the building. It was enough to confirm my decision to leave. Definitely not a place I’d recommend.

I love the fact it was in downtown apartment.A good location. The beds and sheets were so cozy and soft. Almost just like home. Walking distance from market Square to the bars or restaurants and a 24 hour convenience stores across the street. I wish I took pictures to show the place, but I was so comfortable and relaxed there.

Location was good, Staff was friendly and helpful. 2 bathrooms for 2 bed rooms was a good idea and is appreciated.
Sofa was old and torn. Beds were a bit high. More coffee cups in the apt would have helped.

I couldn’t get into the room. The key code didn’t work, and the host reset key code also did not work. The carpet in the stairs and elevator leading to the unit were disgusting. Black. Would not recommend and I need a refund.

It was very convenient to where the event was that I attended. It was the perfect size apartment for me and my boyfriend.

No where to smoke without disturbing others by going in and out . Could use a smoking room✌🏼

Large apartment that was nicely equipped! It was nice that multiple restaurants were readily available on the same block as the apartment! We enjoyed a nice pizza that we purchased across the street from apartment door…
I didn’t realize there wasn’t at least a queen or king sized bed in the apartment but overall we enjoyed our stay and the staff was readily available to assist via text!
