Guest House Emanueli

Such an amazing stay right at the start of the Valbona to Theth hike. Beautiful guesthouse owned by a family with a restaurant down the trail. No wifi in the house but wifi at the restaurant. They also offer free breakfast.

Die Lage war fantastisch. Die Wanderung von Valbona nach Theth wurde dadurch um etwa 5 km verkürzt. Man hatte ein wundervolle Aussicht. Idyllisch war auch die Kuh, die um das Haus graste. Das Haus hat zwei Zimmer mit jeweils 5 (oder 6?) Betten. Man teilt sich das Badezimmer. Wir waren mit unserer Familie in dem einen Zimmer und in dem anderen Zimmer war eine Gruppe befreundeter junger Leute, die sehr nett waren. Wir saßen mit ihnen dann noch in dem Restaurant, das ca. 5 Gehminuten weg ist, zusammen und haben das Essen dort genossen. Die Gastgeber waren auch sehr nett.

Posizione stupenda. Isolata, circondata da natura e da montagne. Letti confortevoli e dormita al fresco lontano dalla calura estiva. Letti e cuscini molto comodi. Facile da trovare lungo il sentiero che conduce da Valbona a Theth. È lontana solo 5 minuti a piedi dal bar/ristorante Emanueli. Spot principale per colazione e cena. Meglio munirsi di torcia. Se si vuol evitare di camminare per raggiungere l'alloggio - non consigliabile perché rovina l'esperienza - si piò anche optare per il servizio navetta da Valbona ad Emanueli

- Controllare la pendenza del pavimento del bagno perché si allaga facilmente

We slept in an old stone house with a stunning view on the mountains. We loved the homemade breakfast and the feeling to be on a farm with cows, goats, chicken, bees, dogs etc. It is located 7,5 km before Valbona which was perfect for us as we were walking the Peaks of the Balkans trail and could only start at 11 am in Theth as a result of the bus connection there. Having an accommodation after 10 / 11 km was perfect in this case.

Contrary to the breakfast the dinner was not the best and not very much as well. Good to know, that there is no lunch-Paket for PoB-hiker. The accommodation itself is a room with 5 (?) beds, good enough to sleep there but not the best thing if you want to feel comfy.
