The Coach House

Beautiful little cottage. Really well equipped. Great host and perfect for exploring the area.

Not a complaint as it wasn’t anything done wrong but my parents are elderly so no bathroom upstairs was a problem - especially as the stairs are relatively steep. And only one bathroom meant some hopping around outside, especially first thing in the morning because they take a while in the bathroom. 😂. But we are hoping to return at Christmas with our adult children rather than elderly parents. It’s a great property!

Spacious cottage, well equipped, beautifully furnished, comfortable beds and perfect location! Becky was extremely helpful too! Great to be able to walk out the door and, in a few steps, be exercising our dog on the common! We hope to return.😀

Immaculately clean and well decorated property. Lovely location , just a nice walk from 2 very nice pub/restaurants. Lovely country walks straight from the cottage. Highly recommend it!

Communication was difficult through booking.com then through another agency. The agency was difficult to get through to.

The one redeeming feature was that the staff, in particular the young man who I assume was the manager, were charming and hard working!

Not good value for money. The breakfast was a buffet, the brochure suggests breakfast is individually cooked. There were no evening meals. Very disappointing to have to go out to eat (although it was in the centre of the village so it was easy to eat out). The room hadn't been cleaned when we came back at 3pm one day. Obviously because of covid they are working with short staff. The most disappointing thing was no welcoming lounge with a lit fire in which to meet other guests.
