PRIVATE POOL! Large beach house can be your Castle By The Sea! All 4 bedrooms have their own private, full bathroom ensuite. Swim in the private pool, or take a dip in the ocean with the beach access right across the street. Pick your cozy place to relax from the swing or rocking chairs on the front porch while taking in the lovely ocean views, the quaint parlor, or one of the plush couches in the living room to watch your favorite TV show.
Large kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, serve ware, and appliances. Keep the family cook company at the counter seating. Play cards or enjoy breakfast at the 4-person table. The large dining table in the separate dining room allows for your entire party to gather for family meals together. Washing machine and dryer are conveniently located on the first floor, in the kitchen. Den includes a twin daybed with a twin trundle pull out.
Backyard, fenced-in oasis includes your private pool with pool chairs. (Slide has been removed) Eat outdoors at the picnic table. Easily cross to the public beach access to lay in the sun, swim in the ocean, take a stroll down the beach, and gaze at the famous Folly sunrises.
Parking for up to 4 vehicles is free in the driveway area. Uber and Lyft are very scarce on the island, please plan your transportation accordingly. Check-in is 4:00pm and check out is 10:00am.

This place served our large family so well. The pool was fantastic and beach access straight across the beach couldn’t have made that better. Comfortable house, no fuss, great linens, well equipped kitchen, lots of outdoor space and private porches. We enjoyed our week there.

The beach can't be accessible when high tide. It's great to have the pool, but it needs to be cleaned more often.

We had a great week at the Castle by the Sea with 3 children from toddler to pre-teen and 6 adults. The beach access is very near and an easy walk from the house. Loved the mostly packed sand beach which was uncrowded. The front porch was a favorite place to hang out and the pool was high on the kids’ list of favorite things. The rooms were comfortable. We enjoyed gathering our family around the dining room table almost every evening for meals and games. We loved the proximity to Charleston. One easy improvement I could see would be making some cabinet space available in the kitchen….the cabinets have the regular “stocked kitchen” items but also was packed with the owner’s personal odds and ends that made fitting our pantry items in a bit of a challenge. (It was like trying to merge a week’s worth of things for 9 people into someone’s already actively lived-in kitchen). Once that Tetris puzzle was solved, we enjoyed a great week.
