Countryside superb relaxation house - adorable!

Perfect place to stay for 3-5 days out in the countryside for total relax. Fireplace with enough wood, another fireplace automated on wood pellets, additional convectors and electric heaters for tough winters. Nice pond outside, with barbeque multiple facilities for nice summers. Games available for children of all ages, also books, DVD player & co. Absolutely superb rustic style renovation, you fall in love with this. A nice (Lidl) welcome wine on the house was highly appreciated! If we'll return / pass through this area we'll definitely come back here, and we encourage you all to do not miss this countryside relaxation house anytime of the year!

The pillows and bed thick blankets need urgent professional cleaning, these all smell old and need proffessional maintenance / renewal procedures.

Lovely house in a pretty and quiet location perfect for battlefield or theme park visits.

This was very good value for money and the comms were very good. The house, beds etc are lovely and clean. There’s lots of space and it would be great for younger children as there is a super interesting garden to explore. The location is very quiet and perfect for an overnight stay when visiting Bellewaerde and Plopsaland.

Somewhere to charge a car would have been good but not a problem for us as e have a hybrid.

Clean, comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable.

The owners had the fires roaring! The house is warm and a great break from hotel rooms and small city apartments. It is surrounded by fields and close to the war sites we wanted to visit. The house is spacious and well equipped. We loved our country break there and would gladly return. It was clean, comfortable and convenient.

Wonderfully relaxing stay with my family and dogs

excellent location, in the countryside yet very close to all the shops I needed. Lots of information provided on everything to do and see in the area - and beyond. The house is equipped with all the things needed to prepare and cook meals. I have never taken my dogs to Europe with me before and was a little apprehensive. I shouldn't have been as this house was perfect for them. Plenty of room for the dogs to run around inside, and the outside area is absolutely huge and 90% grass.

Nothing, all good - if not better. I am asked to write 2 or 3 sentences. I can't, there was nothing to complain about.

Number of bedrooms was great.

The house itself was looking tired and required some updating. There were a lot of objects scattered around giving the impression you were staying in a brick a brac shop. There were a huge amount of mosquitoes in the property, probably due to the pond in the garden. The stairs upstairs are almost vertical and dangerous, especially if you have to use the toilet at night, which is downstairs.

Peace and quiet in the Belgian countryside

The property was great for our family including our 11 month old grandson and our goldendoodle dog who loved roaming around the extensive garden and adjoining field. The house is located amongst fields in a rural location which was ideal for us.

One slight problem is that are very steep stairs to the three upstairs bedrooms

We stayed for one night only. The area around and a view are amazing. if you want to have bbq and sit outside then you have all you need. The kitchen has a lot of equipment. good water stream in bathroom

The house itself is old and there is no air conditioner and it was only one floor vent, no nets on windows. when we came on a very hot day it was much wormer inside the house than outside. We opened the windows to get the fresher air but also got tones of mosquitoes. The night was a nightmare: hot and waking up all the time due to the noise from mosquitoes (and we did put some spray against insects). probably on another day it would be much better experience.

Most wonderful family gathering around fire and under stars

- outdoor dining area with lounge chairs - outdoor bbq and fire pit (bring your own firewood & coal for maximum fun!) - beauty and serenity all around the house - two showers and two toilets - clean and cozy with everything you need - dishwasher yay - easy communication with hosts - relaxing atmosphere and setting for some slow love - stargazing possibility - many toys and games for kids! Even an outdoor sandpit!

The location was quite easy to find, and perfect for our journey. AS it was just a stop off we couldn't stay long but will use as a base in the future as we visit the area frequently. Had everything you could need and great for the dog as well.

Belgium's best kept secret.

When you arrive you are surrounded by peaceful Belgium. The house is so inviting . It takes you in and doesn't let go. We changed our plans and stayed longer . It was that good.

We arrived without towels. We failed to notice that they were not included. Not a major problem.

Le logement correspondait exactement à ce qui est décrit. Nos hôtes avaient préparé la logement, les draps et le linge de maison. L'endroit est calme et isolé, parfait pour notre week-end entre amis. Le logement est très fonctionnel et parfait pour ce type de week-end. En plus l'extérieur est vraiment beau, avec la mare et le paysage. En extra, le frigo en extérieur, avec la table couverte.

Fantastische locatie

De eigenaars zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De locatie is fantastisch.

De kraan in de badkamer zou vervangen mogen worden bijvoorbeeld. Hier ging werk van gemaakt worden.

Toplocatie

Voor de tweede keer met een groep vrienden verbleven in huis den keibilk. De terrassen, het uitzicht, de locatie, de rust,... het blijft allemaal top! We hebben genoten van het weekend.

Alles is verouderd en sinds de vorige keer dat we er verbleven (in 2023) is de staat van het huisje, het (buiten)meubilair, de keuken,... verder achteruit gegaan. Ik zou de eigenaars aanraden om toch echt te investeren in een aantal nieuwe zaken (keukenmateriaal, kookgerief, oven, barbecuerooster,...). Desalniettemin komen we hier graag nog eens terug.

Das kleine Häuschen war für die Unterbringung für 2 Erwachsene und 6 Kinder super. Die grundsätzliche Zimmeraufteilung ist okay, Lage und Ausstattung auch.

Leider hat der Pelletofen nur den ersten Tag funktioniert. Der Gastgeber kam und hat Pellets nachgefüllt, was grundsätzlich super war. Leider gab es keine Erklärung über den Gebrauch, bzw. Vorgehensweise, so dass der Ofen wieder nach einer Nacht aus war. An der Sauberkeit der Zimmer und dem Herd kann gearbeitet werden. Es waren 2 Bäder angegeben, es gab aber nur eine zweite separate Toilette
