The “Portside Cottage” is the waterfront oasis you’ve been hoping for. This newly renovated, stand alone home is next door to our Boat House rental at our functioning boatyard. On the island of Cape May, you won’t find a more unique opportunity. Fish, crab, or bring your own paddle board, kayak, or boat to jettison from the docks of our private marina. Enjoy sunsets from the porch after cooking dinner in a chefs kitchen or use the Weber grill out front! Walkable to the Lobster House, Lucky Bones, Mayer’s Tavern, C-View Restaurant, and multiple other dining options. Less than 1.5 miles from Cape May Beaches !** Because this is an operational boatyard, there is a 2 car maximum ** house sleeps four comfortably !If interested in renting both homes at Roseman’s Boatyard please inquire.The Boathouse sleeps a maximum of eight , 6 adults, hope to see u soon.

What a great place to stay!! Super clean and comfortable!! Well equipped we didn’t need to run out and get anything. Right in the marina, walking distance to a couple of restaurants and to the dolphin and whale watching charters. Chris made sure we had everything we needed and gave us good restaurant suggestions- will absolutely be back!!

My family and I loved our stay at the Portside cottage! It was exactly as pictured, beautiful counter tops, great bathrooms and adorable coastal decor. Cleanliness was 10/10 as well. The location was perfect for us, it offered privacy while still being close enough to the charming town of Cape May. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I stayed here last week and it was a perfect location. Well kept very clean and communication was fantastic. My son and his wife stopped by and spent a couple nights with us as well. We really enjoyed the location of being right there by the water. christiane and Don were very accommodating

We were looking for a small place (for four adults) for a base in Cape May for a few days. We had hoped our choice would be nice and comfy but one never knows - this time our choice, turned out to be even better than we had hoped for! The cottage itself is absolutely charming, beautifully decorated, really comfortable and ultra-clean. Kitchen, bathrooms all new and done with great taste. And even though the cottage is on a small dock, it's all very peaceful - very quiet at night - and in fact, it was rather nice to have the boats and dock to look at from the table and chairs on the cottage's deck.Christiane and Donald are very helpful, Christiane responds immediately to all enquiries. We loved staying there and visiting all the local nature reserves for bird watching (none more than 15 mins away.) We'd recommend a picnic on Sunset Beach ( at sunset of course!) and dinner at Mayer's Tavern. The latter is within walking distance and our dinner on their outdoor patio there was really good. Great service too. So we feel very lucky and grateful to have spent some magical days at Portside Cottage! Oh and did I mention, the beds are super comfy!
