Overall, we found this rental to be great for the price. The appliances in the kitchen have been updated since the listing photos and all worked well, though the microwave isn’t a full size. There weren’t many dishes in the kitchen (only 2 bowls, 4 dinner plates) but we managed just fine. The HVAC unit works very well, but it is loud when it runs. Bathroom is small, but water pressure in the shower was great. We stayed with our 2 small children and found that our queen-size air mattress fit well in the living room and that is where they slept. The couch is a sleeper sofa, but we didn’t try it. It is definitely not the most comfortable couch to sit on. The unit is a short bike ride to the beach or to Night Heron park. It’s a bummer that it doesn’t have pool access, but its proximity to other things on the island is great. We loved watching the alligators in the pond from the screened in porch.

Pros: easy access to main road, second floor unit, wonderful screened-in porch, roomy living area and bedroom. Cons: access to beach, noisy A/C and fridge, "tired" stove and microwave, cramped bathroom.
