This guesthouse exceeded my expectations. It was really artsy and thoughtfully designed, super comfortable and clean, in a beautiful location. Easy check-in/check-out, and the breakfast was also a lovely touch. I wish I had booked myself longer in Ovar. The village was special, and my stay at the guesthouse was too short.

Everything we needed for one night! The location was awesome, close to restaurants and laundromat and grocery stores. Easy check in with clear instructions. Cute decor. Things were VERY clean. Bed was comfortable. Hot water was amazing and had no limit! Wall unit heater was so efficient, even though it was cold outside our room stayed nice and toasty. Microwave, kettle, kitchenware all provided in communal kitchen.
The bathroom had a sewer smell, which is normal around Portugal. There was no window so after a shower everything was wet, which is probably why there is some moldy spots on the ceiling. You weren’t allowed to have food or eat in your room. You had to eat in the communal kitchen which had no heater.

We had a last floor room (just under roof type) Very small room. The room pictures look like nice but not well done.
