Bryson City Home w/ Deck ~ 1 Mi to Fontana Lake

Clean and cute place. Loved the screened porch, hot tub, and extensive board games. Neat location close to Bryson City. We ended up sleeping on the couch in the screened porch due to heat wave and air conditioner malfunction. Great space. Be prepared for ZERO cell or wi-fi. You will have to drive into town (20 minutes) to get service. If you want to disconnect, you will have to here! Very repsonsive property manager/owner. Jeremy was very responsive. Would book again!

Unfortunately all of the AC was not working during record temps. Thank goodness they had a couple of box fans in the closet! Appreciated that they refunded some of the money. Lots of dogs in the neighborhood, some run loose. So not the place if you are afraid of dogs. Owner cannot fix the neighbor issue. Dogs were super sweet though. Be ready for. Barking serenade in the morning. Again... didn't bother us much, but could others. You have to drive your gargabe into town yourself, rather than depositing into trash can on property.

The cabin is perfect for couples or families to stay in. Lots of board games, and room for everyone. In freezing weather, the hot tub and fireplace were an absolute delight! Bonus! The neighbors have a few dogs that love to roam and are so sweet and friendly. You're in the mountains, so feel reception was scarce.

The pics are a bit deceiving. Neighbors are much closer, on all sides, and you're in a neighborhood. Privacy was not felt. Curtains are hung to block in hot tub but l but leave everything around the tub exposed (getting i to/n/out). The bed and pillows were too flat and firm for my taste. The leather couches don't like to let go of any skin you allow to touch. No Wi-Fi and poor reception for T-Mobile.

It was fully stocked. Except kitchen garbage bags. Which was fine. There were seasonings, silverware, pots and pans...hot pads.. etc. Games to play and clear directions about everything. We were very Happy!! Great time!

We Just had to buy gargage bags and aluminum foil. But Honestly, it wasnt that big of a deal. I suggest downloading maps to and from places you want to see and music, podcasts, etc. Since no internet. Otherwise. Great place! Would visit again!

The king bedroom has a hole in the floor. No intranet.
