Perfect small apartment for visiting Copenhagen

It was the perfect apartment for a solo traveller — it would be good for a couple too. I had everything I needed for my short stay. The location was ideal, half way between the airport and the city, each just a few metro stops away. It’s close to the beach and there are plenty of restaurants and shops a short walk away.

The convenience to the airport and metro. Lovely quiet neighbourhood close to the beach, but easily accessible to the city. Lovely toiletries.

A little smaller than anticipated. No room for comfy chair. Limited TV channels.

Great base to explore Copenagen

Super clean from top to bottom, and the hosts were very kind and allowed us to store our bags for a while on our last day so we could continue sight seeing. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice and large. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped and very tidy, a pleasant place to cook. Everything worked flawlessly. The location is out of the core, so very quiet and leafy, waking up to birdsong each morning which we really enjoyed. The metro stop is a quick ten minute walk away, and puts you in the centre in less than 15 minutes. Plus a quick few blocks walk east puts you right on the water.

Hard to think of anything, but maybe an extra pillow or two on the bed for us side sleepers! Also, please add the house number onto the address on booking.com so that the house is easier to find.

Fantastic stay!

Jan was such a wonderful host, thank you so much for making us feel so welcome and safe. The apartment was so well located for the beach and the metro into town and to the airport. So clean, homely, practical and peaceful. Would recommend to all!

Very convenient stay for departure from the airport

If we had known we could have got off the train at the Airport and taken the metro. This would have saved us time and money. The TV kept loosing signal.

Perfect location with easy links to the city, and a very friendly host.

Not so much didn’t like, but important to understand - there’s no lounging room, but if you’re mostly out exploring this doesn’t matter.

Overall pretty good experience, just ask for a guide on the window opening.

Very good location (near the metro), quiet place, well equipped apartment. Nice and decent owner.

Only 2 towels were offered, small one for the face and a large one for the body. I would have expected at least 2 more towels as it was not a cheap rent. In addition, the owner should have explained about the windows opening (not regular), Which caused the shades of the window to fall twice. If he had guided me properly it would not have happened.

All-you-need home in a great location!

Really liked the location of the home, easy transport to the city center as well as the airport. All amenities were available in the apartment. It is a very spacious and clean home with a very responsive host willing to help and give advice whenever we needed it. We were really happy with the experience overall. Would recommend to friends and family!

EXCEPTIONAL

Exceptional place to stay .It is in a residencial area ,many houses, gardens,trees, nature, quiet and secure neighbourhood, feels every homy. Even if it isn't in the center , 500 m walking you are at the metro station from there you have acces all over COPENHAGEN.The apartment very very clean -all you can need -we recieved an upgrade an extra room -gardens arond the house ,it is an area just with private houses.The beach is very close ;Jan the owner of the whole building is very helpful , dedicated person;i would stay there again anytime .

The host met us at the entrance and gave us a quick recap/tour of the apartment. Even though I misread some information, the host was friendly and patient! The apartment was nearby a metro station which was directly linked to Copenhagen. You can buy 24h, 36h, 72h and 96h metro tickets for Copenhagen.

Weinig comfortabel, maar wel zeer hygiënisch appartement op een redelijke locatie

De locatie en de hygiëne uitstekend

Na het boeken kreeg ik een melding van Yun dat er een borg van € 300 betaald moest worden. Dit stond niet in de boekingsvoorwaarden vermeld. Als ik dit eerder had geweten, dan zou ik dit niet geboekt hebben, annuleren kon ik echter niet meer omdat ik dan mijn betaling kwijt zou zijn. De borg werd niet automatisch teruggestort, ik moest er om vragen. Uiteindelijk heb ik de borg pas een kleine week later teruggestort gekregen. Er lagen meerdere voorwaarden in het appartement waar je aan moest voldoen, voldeed je hier niet aan dan werden er kosten in rekening gebracht. Zo kost het bijv. € 950 om het slot van de tuin te vervangen als je de sleutel kwijt raakt. Een belachelijk hoog bedrag omdat zo’n slot maximaal € 50 kost. Parkeren kost € 10 per dag en moest contant betaald worden. Bij navraag kreeg ik als factuur een excelbestandje zonder mijn kenteken toegestuurd, welke niet gebruikt kan worden als ik onverhoeds toch een bekeuring thuis gestuurd krijg. Ik heb mijn vermoedens dat de kosten die ik betaald heb, niet helemaal correct zijn geweest. Verder was het er piepklein en weinig comfortabel. De koffers konden we er nauwelijks kwijt. Er stonden 2 barkrukken in het piepkleine keukentje, waarvan er 1, ook na een opmerking van mij heel erg kraakte. Het was verre van prettig om op deze krukken (langdurig) te zitten, waardoor je eigenlijk de hele avond in bed lag.
