Disappointing and overstated in terms of what it promised.

It was clean inside. The bed was comfortable. The towels were good.

We were disappointed. The description was overstated which set expectations high. For example the amenities included a sofa, tumble dryer, dining table, desk, patio and free toiletries. There was soap and toilet paper. No sofa. No tumble dryer. The desk may have been the wooden fold up thing tucked in beside the wardrobe, but goodness knows where it would fit. The apartment was teeny tiny. The dining table was the kitchen bench. There was a coffee machine with coffee capsules costing 2€ each. The patio was the outside garden which did look very pretty and shared with other tenants. Unfortunately it was under construction when we were there so didn’t feel it was usable. Lots of rules including the first rule - no prostitution or similar activities. Goodness knows what troubles they have had in the past to warrant this being stated more than once. We would not recommend this place. It did not feel welcoming or the kind of place to hang out in.

Nice apartment, staff and area.

They were doing construction work to install a jacuzzi in the building, which lasted for 3 days and was really annoying. The noise started at 8 AM and felt like it was right inside our room. It was terrible because we chose this place to have peace and quiet, as we were in town for a music festival and always got back around 3 or 4 AM. So we barely got any rest. If I had known about the construction beforehand, I would have stayed somewhere else. But apart from that, everything was great. I would stay here again, as long as I could be sure there’s no construction work happening during my stay. This kind of information should definitely be communicated to all guests.

Definitely recommend this place!

So, my wife had a conference but I was on holiday. We would have stayed in a budget hotel but wanted the ability to make our own food so a small apartment but with kitchen seemed ideal. The apartment is very small but it has everything you need - even including tupperware in the kitchen drawers which was so helpful for storing our leftovers! It also has silver birch trees outside each window (bedroom and kitchen) and seeing them (and the garden through the kitchen window) and the sky, made it feel less small also. The host Jan was so helpful, also giving us a lift for a reasonable price to the airport at 4am because there was no guarantee the metro would be running because they sometimes do repairs in the small hours but you can't know when. He also replied very quickly to whatsapp's when we had questions or needs. The location is perfect, near the metro station to go and explore the rest of Copenhagen (which I did but was always glad to return back to the apartment after!), near the beach, a pleasant walk along the beach front to Lidl supermarket which has reasonably priced food.

In the final few days, some guests would sit at the table outside the front and smoke, then the smoke would come in our bedroom window that overlooked it. One evening they did that quite late. But it is just luck of the draw who stays because in the first half of the stay there was no such problem. Also the host does try to avoid it with the clear rules in the information book and on the wall regarding when smoking should be acceptable. It would also have been useful if there was a dustpan and brush in the apartment so that you could sweep up any food crumbs that you spilt while cooking. Would also recommend a more absorbent mat for outside the shower. But overall as you can see I gave 10 for the review score.

Clean appartment Jan is really a nice host and makes everything to have a plesabt stay. He respond very quickly. The location near the metro make it very accessible, both from airport and train station.

Very clean and comfortable appartement, very well equipped. Nice garden. Jan ia a very helpful host. It's not close to copenhagen city-center but metro is located close by and you can bike easily within 15 - 20 minutes. The picturesque beach is very close same as shopping facilities.

The owner was a little too concerned about occupancy. Insisted only two people could stay in an apartment that would easily hold four or five people.

This is simply a wonderful place. It's only like 10 min. to the center of Copenhagen and 10 min. to the airport. Everything was clean, kitchen awesome furnitures comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. It was a super base., very quiet, and felt like home every time we came from the city. Thanks to the owner who was also super helpful and a really nice guy. 'We Will Be Back'!

Easy acces to downtown.

Very small and low quality, I felt myself in '70s. Haven't claned properly. WC+Bath= 2 m2 ===> It is a joke. Bad is extremly soft and narrow, fits for two kids instead of two adults. To compare the booking prize with Malmö, you should book there and comute on daily bases by train. It is more cost effective,

Mixed experience

Good connectivity to the metro line, 5mins walk to the nearest metro Amager Strand

The toilet and the shower is way too small. The wash basin almost takes up half of the shower space. Our experience with the owner, Jan was a bit stressful and unpleasant. We had our booking till May 14, but somehow it appears there was some confusion and the owner thought it was till May 13, and in the morning on May 13, while we were on our way to Malmö, we received a rather blunt and rude text message from Jan stating that we should come back to the apartment in 20mins otherwise he will throw our stuff outside. This was clearly a mistake on his part that he did not notice our check out date and instead decided to threaten us with dire consequences.

Feeling at home in Amager Strand

The apartment is small but very comfortable and you really have everything you need. We stayed more than two weeks and didn't have any issues, everything was very well thought. Jan gave us a lot of useful information and has been a great host.

The only thing we think colud be improved is the couch. We found that it was a little too hard to sleep on for so many days. Maybe adding a thin mattress (the type you can roll up and put away if don't like to leave the couch open in sleeping-mode all the time) could do the trick. Otherwise great aparment, we definetly would go back there again!

Viel Sonne und einige Wolken

Ein schönes kleines Apartment mit Gartenmitnutzung. Die Nähe zum Strand (ca. 7 min.), Metro (ca. 7 min.) und Supermarkt (Netto, ca. 10 min.) war super. Der Gastgeber und Team waren sehr freundlich, zuverlässig und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Kommunikation war gut, ich habe zeitnah Antworten auf meine Fragen bekommen. Die Wohnung und vor allem die Küche war gut ausgestattet, sauber und hell. Das Bett war bequem.

Bitte Vorsicht bei den Buchungen über Freitag!!! Leider gab es am Freitagabend eine sehr laute Party im Garten(!) bei den Nachbarn. Einer der vielen (manchen sehr seltsamen) Regeln des Hauses war: strikte Nachtruhe. Als es um 23 Uhr nicht leiser wurde, habe ich den Gastgeber gefragt, was los ist. Er meinte, er kontaktiert den Nachbarn und bittet, dass sie leiser werden. Sonst kann ich die örtliche Polizei unter Nicht-Notfall-Nummer kontaktieren. Die Polizei meinte, es ist Freitagabend und es ist üblich, dass die Leute feiern. Sie kommen nicht, eventuell soll ich später anrufen. Und meinten "it's not Germany", als ich sagte, in DE wäre so was mit dem Blick auf der Nachtruhe nicht möglich. Die Party war noch bis mindestens 3 Uhr voll im Gange, vielleicht länger, irgendwann bin ich doch eingeschlafen. Sehr schade mit dem Erlebnis - hat bei mir einen schlechten Eindruck von Kopenhagenaufenthalt gelassen. Liegt nicht direkt an dem Gastgeber, aber als Gast sollte man irgendwie gewarnt sein, was ich jetzt mit meiner Bewertung tue.

Diese Ferienwohnung - ohne Wohnraum - ist für uns als Urlaubsquartier keine Option.

Die Unterkunft liegt recht abseits von Gastronomie und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Mit Betreten der Wohnung steht man in der Küche, wo es nur Barhocker zum Sitzen gibt, für große Leute eher schlecht, da man sich hinter die Mikrowelle quetscht oder die Hocker nach vorn in den Raum rücken muss. Der Übergang ins kleine SZ schließt sich direkt an. Mehr ist nicht. Ein gemütliches Sitzen am Abend - so nicht möglich. Der Garten war gerade eine einzige Baustelle, die angebliche Terrasse belegt von einem Mini oder gegen Abend durch automatische Bewässerung überschwemmt. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt bei entsprechenden Ansprüchen ev. geeignet, nicht aber für einen "echten" Urlaub, wo es ev. auch einmal Schlechtwetter gibt. Wir haben uns letztlich ein neues Quartier gesucht.

Langes Wochenende für den Brückenlauf von Kopenhagen nach Malmö

Es war eine ruhige Gegend, einfach mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln nach Kopenhagen und Sehenswürdigkeiten zu kommen. Nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Start des HM.

Wir waren etwas überrascht, dass man extra für den Kaffee bezahlen mußte. Vor allem weil auch die Reinigung danach extra dazu kam. Der Fernseher hatte auch keine Beschreibung. Es war eigentlich nur ein großer Monitor, weil man sein eigenes Konto für Netflix... benutzen mußte.

A kaució visszaadása előtt Jan mindent leellenőrzött,az utolsó darabig. Nekem ez kicsit rosszul esett, mert tényleg mindent kitakarítottunk,és,ha bármi bajt csináltunk volna, akkor szóltunk volna. De ezt betudom a tulaj rossz tapasztalatainak. Különben minden OK volt.

Een aangename plek om naar terug te keren na een drukke bezoekdag aan Kopenhagen.

Super goed gelegen - rustig en toch een metrohalte op 200 m - om de paar minuten een metro richting de stad - strand vlakbij - goed uitgeruste keuken - proper - de host Jan is heel behulpzaam.
