Very impressed with how clean it was. Everything is well stocked in the kitchen. Communication was fantastic! Everything was very nice! There is plenty of space for a big family which we loved.
I would love to give 5 stars, but I do need to mention our first night there we did have an issue with one of the overhead lights in the bedroom. The lights and fans are high tech and not very user friendly, and it simply would not turn off. We spent a good amount of time on the internet trying to figure out what was wrong and if we could fix it ourselves because we checked in after hours. This affected our sleeping arrangements that night, so it definitely caused some stress. The next day when maintenance came, we found a remote that helped control it,but it still did not work from the button mounted on the wall, so we just left it off the whole time. Other than that it was a great place for our whole family to stay.

We enjoyed the property. The problem was after we left.
I left two items, one of which was very valuable to me, in a cabinet. I NEVER forget my things and was quite upset with myself. I began calling Vacasa the night we left when I realized I had left my things. They were very kind and said they would get my things back to me promptly. I believe that they tried, but the issue was with the local Vacasa office. It took over three weeks for them to get my items back to me. I don’t know why they didn’t call the property to get them back for me. It was quite silly because the property owners were the ones staying there (the main office told me that). I’m sure they would have been happy to meet them at the front door with my things and that would have been the end of it. Instead, the local office refused to do anything by ignoring the main office, ignoring my multiple attempts to contact them (email, FB, Twitter, etc.) and even going as far as lying to the main office that they had attempted to contact me. I’ve learned my lesson and will only be booking through Sea Pines in the future. Now I understand why they loathe these rental companies. They just don’t care.
