Take a guided horseback ride through the 605-acre forest preserve with Lawton Stables Equestrian Center. My daughter and her friend, both 20 y.o. and I stayed for a few days during spring break. The property was as described and looked just like the pictures. The property is located in Sea Pines resort- a gated community. I don't recall reading this anywhere, but I may have missed where you're supposed to check in at Vacasa first off Pope Ave. to get your gate passes first. The people at the gate went ahead and let me in, but tried to get me to pay for parking first. Thank God I didn't because parking was indeed free. It's a about an 8-10 minute drive to the condo from the gate due to speed limits and resort activity. The property was beautiful. The walk to the beach was actually about 5 minutes but worth it. When you leave the building, walk straight out, pass the bikes sitting to the right and make a left between the two other buildings, walk across the street and down to the beach path. The trash bin is out the building and to the right in a tan structure. The number to call for assistance is on the wall in the kitchen and the property manager is most helpful. There's a Publix close by and our favorite, One Hot Mama's BBQ is close to the other gate. Be SURE to visit Sea Shack for good, cheap seafood. There are gators on the property, but don't bother them and they won't bother you! We can't wait to visit again!

We rented this location so we could be near family staying on Lands End and it was perfect! Great location, beautiful decor, clean, fabulous balcony, comfortable queen-sized bed. This is our second year staying in this condo and we were very happy yet again!

Location is great. You can walk to Salty Dog. Price is good. There are a couple things that make this “okay”:1. The AC in the place is inadequate. It’s warm in the house. They give you two box fans. They don’t do much but make a ton of noise.2. Place needs an update. TVs are tiny and low quality. They keep the place somewhat clean, but it is definitely old and needs a renovation.3. There is a cost to get into the sea Pines neighborhood. We got in around 9 PM went to the front gate and they wanted to charge us nine dollars to get in or 30 for the week. This was not communicated at all through VRBO. We messaged the management company and they really didn’t get back to us. I ended up going to the sea Pines front desk and they gave me a pass to get in which she said she wasn’t supposed to do because our name wasn’t on the list. I reached out the next day to see if it could be taken care of and got no response. Plan on paying nine dollars to 30 to get access to the place that you’re renting unless this is a one off and they just didn’t communicate well to us. They told us to go to the management companies office which was 4 miles away from the gate. This is something that should’ve been taken care of or communicated before the trip.If you’re looking for an inexpensive place, that is close to salty dog this place will work. Unless they fix the AC, I would not recommend in the summer. It’s fine, but if you’re expecting something nice, you will be disappointed.
