About this apartment rental
Summary:
Sun drenched and spacious, this two bedroom apartment is located on Banks Ave. Just a few minutes stroll and you’ll have your toes in the sand or be in the heart of downtown Mount. Situated on the first floor, this light and airy apartment is the perfect pick for families or friends. Enjoy drinks on the large sunny deck or a dip in the refreshing pool.
The Space:
Noise to be expected until mid march. Outside deck tiles are being replaced on opposite side of building. Possibility of noise to be expected and scaffolding around the building.
Located on the first floor of Long Beach apartment block this sun-drenched apartment comes with two secure underground car parking spaces.
Take the lift to the apartment and you’ll find two large bedrooms. One with a queen bed and en-suite with bath and shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a pull out single bed underneath available on request. We no longer have the bunk bed in the photo. The second bathroom has a shower and the laundry.
The open plan living flows out onto the deck. Perfect for a lazy morning or relaxing afternoon. In the kitchen you’ll find everything you need if you are eating in and you’ll find a BBQ out on the deck.
The outdoor pool is heated from Labour weekend to end of Easter.

There are two undercover secure car parks, you can access the swimming pool between the hours of 8:30am-10pm.
*Please note the person booking and staying must be over 25 years old*

Marvellous Mount Maunganui
A favourite amongst travellers young and old……..a brilliant base for everyone with so much to do and so much to explore….. you’ll be left with wanting more.
Located in the fabulous Bay of Plenty, Mount Maunganui is famous for its endless white sand beach, year-round surf, Pilot Bay Harbour and beautiful Mauao.
At the end of the peninsula the iconic Mauao stands elegantly at 230 meters tall. Everyone has the option of taking a leisurely stroll around the flat base. The more adventurous will have fun reaching the top and be rewarded with the spectacular 360-degree views.
Downtown Mount you’ll find a laid-back strip of shops, bars & restaurants that offer all day dining most with alfresco tables…….Pick up a treat or souvenir from one of the locally owned boutiques, enjoy an ice cream or coffee, browse one of the weekly markets or soak yourself in one of the salt water hot pools or treat yourself to a papering session at one of the spas.
Pilot Bay offers sheltered year-round swimming and kayaking. Picnic on the grassy shore & watch the fishermen launch their boats and cargo ships come and go.
Head to main beach where new surfers can grab a lesson and watch the more experienced catch a wave or two. If the wind is up the kite surfers will be out in force. Or just chill and enjoy a refreshing swim.
Keen golfers have the choice of two world class courses…..Summer or Winter there’s no excuse not to get the clubs out.
For groceries you’ll find an accessible New World at Central Parade along with cafe's, bike shops and a slick city eatery.
10 minutes’ drive away is the recently upgraded Bay Fair shopping centre with 150 shops and restaurants and the new United seven screen cinema (opens December 2020). Bay Wave offers a fun day indoors in the largest pool in the Bay. Complete with wave machine, kiddies play pools and giant slide.

The property was perfect for our needs. Very clean and fresh feeling. Linen was immaculate and excellent quality, small things provided like wash powder, dish liquid etc which was great. Location was excellent, easy walk to beach, shops, mountain. Parking and security was excellent. Communication from the property manager was excellent and easy. Would recommend this place and will definitely be staying again.

Overall, the place was lovely. There was no aircon and was leftover food on the table when we arrived, which i cleaned up. We did find there were a lot of rules, so we found it hard to relax. Such as emptying bins (cleaners' jobs), no stains on the white towels, carpet, or bed linen (so worried about make up) will incur a fee. These rules were in the handbook and were emailed to me twice also. We felt like we were walking on eggshells after we paid so much. Now staying at another location in the Mount, clean, with a pool, aircon, central location, minimal rules where we can relax and parking for a fraction of the cost. so feeling much happier.
