Spacious apartment in Mount Maunganui

The space, the day core, comfortable beds. Close to the beach and Mount business centre

No rubbish or recycling bin in garages where we were supposed to leave our rubbish and recycling bin. We couldn’t leave it in the apartment as I have been charged extra for doing so previously. Only having one key as we were staying with our adult children and they sometimes did different activities to us so access became an issue. Some of the instructions re key access left out some details about how to use the key and when number codes were required.

Very spacious, ideal location, good parking. The inside is very clean and well equiped.

The apartment was spacious, big kitchen with everything you need, and super comfy beds. Location was great, close to the beach, cafes, and walkable to the The Mount shops.

Apartment parking was provided in the basement carpark, just a little challenging to park as quite tight if have SUV. On street parking also avaliable, but sometimes busy. Couldn't locate the buiding's rubbish bins when leaving.

I really enjoyed this apartment. Unfortunately my stay was tainted by the neighbours across in the other tower next door they were on the deck until early hours the first night I was woken at 1.30am with their loud/ drunk talking. I am a sound sleeper but this was loud like a party with no music. I thought oh well it was just the one night. But last night same happened it was earlier this time I got woken at 1230 this time even louder noise. I was about to get up and ask them to go to bed. But then all shut off at 1. I work really hard and this was a trea for me and my friend and boys. I came straight back to work in gisborne tonight and was a little concerned that the drive home was going to be a struggle. While this isn’t the owners fault there was no number around anywhere in building to call someone. I also couldn’t have my windows open because of the noise which made for a pretty stuffy sleep. The other guests mostly couldn’t hear I think the noise funnels down to the second bedroom. Second night one boy could hear from the 3rd bedroom.
