8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026
The location is extraordinary. Incredibly atmospheric with a bustling, festive air from all the tourists and students on nights out. It is right across the road from the Golden Fleece, a wonderful pub. Walking tours stop outside the window giving the place a fun ambience. Facilities are great, kitchen is well equipped and clean.
Bathroom is a little small and just off the corridor. Not much the owners can do about that though.

The property was located right in the Shambles. We could walk everywhere. It was clean and we loved having a kitchen and living room. Communications with hosts was easy.
The 2 flights of stairs to climb to the apartment with our suitcases.

There was a lot of steep stairs to the appartment. Not suitable for the elderly. We are in our 80s it was just fortunate that we are very mobile with no disabilities. We had to catch our breath when we had finished climbing them
