Lydia was in touch with me during my flight to make sure to be around for my arrival which was significantly delayed. There is an elevator. She will give you 3 keys, one for the building, one for the elevator and one for your room. The PILLOWS were amazing!!! The room was nice and soooo quiet. There are 4 apartment buildings that have a shared courtyard. It's a little oasis. I picked this hotel because it was close enough to walk from the train station. It's also walking distance from several sites including Michelangelo's Moses! Breakfast was very nice. Lydia put out a spread of sweets, bread, cheese and meat platter, juice and made coffee. You will have to take it back to your room to eat as there is no dining area. As a solo woman traveler I felt extremely safe on the street that the hotel is on and in the surrounding neighborhood even later in the evening. There are several restaurants just downstairs and around the block for meals. We used Google translate and that was a perfect way to communicate! Lydia is a lovely hostess.

Lidia was a great host. She met us in the courtyard after we got a little lost, our fault. She was very easy to contact. The room was very comfortable and quiet, tucked away in an apartment block (with a little lift) and so close to everything we needed, train, buses, restaurants etc. Lidia provided a great breakfast which we took to our room and made it so easy for us to enjoy our stay. Highly recommend staying here, a really quaint Italian pensione, great value for money.

Homely and authentic with a friendly caring local host. Only stayed for one night Close to station for our onward journey and the Opera which we attended.

Once through the main door we weren’t sure where to go to find the correct stairway (but we were rescued by our host quite quickly!).

Central location

Imagine a host sitting in the next room watching you and making you uneasy with his behavior, how bad, we experienced no privacy... Also just corbohydrate for breakfast... not worth the money you pay.
