Full quiet and ocean immersion in utmost comfort

large cozy room with plenty of light and a private balcony with views on the surf. The hotel is in a beautiful quiet garden away from the hustle and bustle, where you can listen to the birds during the day and the crickets at night,I also much enjoyed the open dinning room right on the beach, nothing like having a meal or drinks while looking at the surf from the front seat. The staff were also able to organize for massage and scooter rentals. A true reset.

It was calm, very friendly and polite staff, nice pool, room was just normal, in the pictures it’s looking bigger and newer. However I think this hotel is the best in this area. Very good massage.

The location is very far - from the airport like 2.30-3 hours. Location of the hotel between old facilities and sometimes u feel bad smell of cows, which is staying around. The ocean has a big waves so it was impossible to swim. Far from the shops and cafes. Breakfast was very limited.

High quality facility in a lovely location with friendly staff

The location is quiet and beautiful. It is right on the beach with beautiful views when you are on the second floor. Food at the restaurant is good with seating right on the beach. And the staff is friendly.

This is my second stay here. Some of the bathrooms have showers alfresco. But not all of the rooms have this.

Nice quiet resort far away form all the rush in Bali the Resort is very stylish with nice outdoor restaurant on the beech and also inside the facility the food was good would recomend Wide Sands to any one who wants to recharge after busy Bali

The restaurant is stunning, both in design and ambiance. I had the pleasure of enjoying one of the best Mie Goreng dishes in Bali—a culinary experience that I’ll never forget. The beach nearby is exceptional, with stretches that feel wild and untouched, yet remain spotlessly clean around Wide Sands. It’s the perfect blend of natural beauty and tranquility. A big thank you to Novi and Juli at the reception, who showed an outstanding level of professionalism and made us feel like truly important guests. Cafe and pool overlooking the ocean, the rooms felt spacious and the fully indoor bathrooms. Rooms downstairs are now being renovated and refurbished. The staff are true Balinese, delightful, helpful, thoughtful, and engaging. We look forward to staying here again

Paradise.

Everything. I stayed at Wide Sands for just over 3 weeks to reset and I liked everything about the hotel. The staff are amazing and knew your name and were some of the most genuine people I met whilst travelling. The rooms were spotless and to go to sleep every night to the sound of the surf was amazing. The location is breathtaking. I eat every night at the restaurant and the food was very good especially the steak and homemade chocolate brownies of which I probably eat too many ! They put me in contact with Mr Komang who I rented a scooter from for a very reasonable price and I was kept safe by Andrew the surf guide who I spent a lot of time in the water with who was excellent. Would I return …….in a heartbeat. Thanks everyone for a great stay and for making me feel so welcome.

Relaxing, a chance to recharge and escape from the constant crowds down south.

Location was perfect for a quiet escape from the crowds of the main tourist areas down south, just what was required. Meals were good value and service was fast, professional and easy going. Fantastic location of beach front bar - restaurant with pool alongside made for relaxed afternoons while wave & surfer watching.

Maybe a little more variety on the menu is about the only thing however that is just trying to find something. In all it was what it advertised and more.

The hotel is brand new, very nice rooms and staff very friendly. Also the food at the restaurant was quite good.

Location wise is far from most things to visit in Bali. I guess this place is better off for surfers. However I enjoyed the place being away from main tourist areas. Roads in Bali are terrible and going in and out of the hotel to visit something was always a challenge. Ideal place for people who want to do nothing and surfers.

If you’re seeking peace or a great surf come visit Wide Beach Retreat.

We loved the staff…so friendly and so helpful. Couldn’t have been nicer! The name Wide Sands Retreat is just that….a retreat from the noise of the outside world to the tranquil sounds of the surf right outside your hotel. The infinity pool by the beach with its comfy long beds and umbrellas and shade trees looking over the long wide beach was perfect. The hotel seemed almost new but with beautiful Bali gardens and gorgeous rooms with plenty of space, great beds and plenty of hot water and pressure in the shower. One thing we really noticed after driving all the way around Bali and staying in 6 different resorts was in today’s world most hotels only had a bare minimum of power points! Wide Sands had many points to recharge all the mod cons of today. Oh, did I mention the surf? It was amazing and not one person out enjoying those great waves!!! If you’re a surfer you’ve got to get out to the west coast to Medewi Beach at Pulukan. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
