Swimming is allowed on all the beaches on the island, with public beach access at the end of every block.

The apartment was great. A very short walk to the beach. 3 nice sized bedrooms with 3 full baths. Nicely stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the balcony which has a lovely view of the ocean. We were able to walk to Folly beach pier, local shops and eateries. We had 2 grandchildren with us ages 10 and 13. It was an added bonus that the beach we walked to had life guards.

The condo was very nice! It was exactly as described. The condo was very clean and well organized. The only thing that could have been better was the opportunity to get in early. I had messaged them earlier in the week asking about the possibility to get in early. They said they would communicate that day with me, and we never heard anything.

Picked up my College of Charleston student, and had a wonderful beach stay at this home. Plenty of space and privacy, lovely amenities, clean bathrooms and living areas, and best of all, that balcony with a great ocean and pier view.

Had water emergency in another unit. Called Vacasa 3 times--no one answered. 911 was called and the city sent out an employee to check out the situation. Water damage specialists did show up. Pool needed to be vacuumed--not done until 3 days later. Living area couch too uncomfortable and dining area did not work out at all--small and inconvenient to use.
